For those who know of him Clapham Grand on the BBS has posted recently 'sounds like it's happening' CG appears to truly have an ear in the management structure somewhere as his comments are usually taken with respect there and much hope re transfers ! Benteke AND Remy ? Dear me
Nice one Daz: [Link] CPFC 2010 - Stable and Realistic Owners at last ! Roll on Premier League Season 2013/2014 ! Great to be back at last ! PSN = eaglist |

This is brilliant news! Wow. REMY, BENTEKE , WICKHAM as an attacking threat - not so toothless now! Were moving in the right direction now.

Fantastic to get him on loan rather than risking a transfer, too. Hopefully this means we can still spend.

Remy and Benteke up top is a serious strike force that will frighten prem defences. now for attacking midfielder and winger. Ryan Mason is in talks with Hull, we should Hijack this deal.

Why Mason? With MacArthur and Cabaye back - I am more than happy with what we have at our disposal. But a loan deal for Remy would be great, just do not forget he is very injury prone and not the same striker that was banging in goals for QPR/Newcastle!

Because you need a specialist midfielder of the Mesut Ozil brand to seriously f-up opposition midfield dominance and to creatively make one-on-one chances for our star strikers. I don't know Mason. But if he can boss the middle and provide killer passes, then he's the type of player we need, and with the squad so far, we are EASILY looking at top 6. COYP! Exciting times! Remy is HOT. Don't worry about his fitness. He got injured stop-starting continually for Chelsea: sitting on bench...then being thrust into top-flight action... always going to test you physically.

Because if either of them get injured then we're in trouble. Whole problem last year was lack of quality in the squad, the first XI was fantastic last year.

Agreed , need another decent one , be it a defensive one so we can push cabaye or McCarthur further forward , or just one capable of playing in either position, a left back would be nice to , both souare and ward could do with a kick up the arse in my opinion.

With the addition of remy this give us another great option in the squad Plan A (team 1) (4-3-3) Plan B (442) Mandanda I wouldn't be unhappy with either team. I would like to us sign

Edited by Dan89 (24 Aug 2016 8.24am) Strange situation IMHO. We have got Townsend, Sako and Puncheon who are left footed players and they prefer (Puncheon prefered)to play on the right flank. Whether Rémy comes to play for us or not, we would need a real left winger who could play as a LM as well. Ashley Young would be perfect despite his diving 'aptitudes'. Wilf is struggling on the left side. Edited by Szeredy (24 Aug 2016 8.46am) Edited by Szeredy (24 Aug 2016 9.35am)
