Illegal entry that results in asylum being granted does not then retroactively become legal entry.

Not all irregular immigration will eventually turn out to be illegal, if asylum is granted. Which is probably why a change to the language used is being made. If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, then it’s certainly a duck. Some though are mallards and some are mandarins, originally from Asia but now resident here. No it’s not and you know it. You think you understand labour making the changes and agree with it because it’s your type of salad, word.

But it's legitimate to mock one religion during the Olympics' opening ceremony. Mocking all or any religion wouldn’t be very sensible during an Olympic opening ceremony. The organisers have said that they didn’t and what has been considered offensive has been misinterpreted. Still a mistake though as the potential to offend ought to have been identified. That said.I thought that whilst parts were ok, some of it was quite odd and others downright ugly. I don’t think it has done Paris any favours at all, quite unlike ours in London which was both spectacular and amusing.

There is absolutely no doubt at all that asylum and amnesty are different concepts, which have nothing to do with me. They just are.

And if insulting the intelligence of those who actually live in the country you're pontificating upon is the way to convince them of your omniscience then carry on. Those who are so convinced that Trump is the answer are not going to be influenced by me. They are beyond help. Which is sad, but true. Only time and self reflection can achieve that. It has already happened to some and will eventually to many. They aren’t the ones who need influencing now. It’s the swing voters in the swing states along with the lazy voters. I doubt very much if my small voice will make the slightest difference but simply participating in any way in something I regard as vitally important is more satisfying than just sitting back and watching it happen.

I saw that but it was clearly the last supper. Look at it yourself. I'm not particularly bothered but I find the double standards of kid gloves towards Islam and insult the hell out of Christianity ridiculous. Particularly with everything that has happened in French classrooms.
