The conservative party does have rivals in incompetence, granted.

'Confidence in Bank of England plummets to all-time low'.

Public confidence in the Bank of England has crashed to a record low amid mounting questions over its handling of the economy.

Wrong on just about everything, lining its own pockets at our expense as usual while driving the economy into recession with rate hikes.

Bone-headed, no ideas except clumsy bashing wage-earners while creaming it in themselves.

Inflation was forecast to come down anyway by the end of the year
to around 6%, that was before Sunak and the Bank of England started all this.

The ban on dangerous dogs should be extended in my view.

Extrapolate this up to a national government, and you will get an insight to life under Starmer's Labour.

Give it a few years and people will be begging to get the Tories back.

'Truss levels of insanity'.

Senior Tory calls for general election as Sunak ditches net zero commitments.

To make a definite difference to labour? So we'll go backwards decline further at great cost to make ourselves more electorally attractive?

I think the very opposite.

Why not ask the voters then Rishi, then you could be an elected PM couldn't you?

An excruciating performance.

That BMW deal at Cowley for the electric mini, he promised the 2030 date was irremovable?

Bypassed parliament announcing it in the recess.

As for making people bankrupt, his party have been doing that for over a decade.

It's all the in the Wordkraft, of which BJ was a master. It was obvious to any sane person the phasing out of petrol and diesel cars by 2030 was never going to happen. 2035 is just as unrealistic.
Not just for Sunak, but for any Government. They all spout the first thing that comes into their heads and worry about the consequences,......later.

I disengage, I turn the page.

And so it continues. This is the problem. Both main political parties are two sides of the same coin. We need to stop playing this game. Neither are the solution. In fact, they are the problem.

Yes, very little between them however much the MSM likes to say there is blue water emerging.

I am now in favour of PR, something I would never have said ten years ago, we need to break the duopoly millions of voters can get the representation they want

This was wrong.

Respect to Robinson for highlighting it.

Tories raise tax burden to nearly 40% of national income, and will inflict a further £3,500 per family before the next election, worst since WW2.

They will be 'irreversible' too wow.

And you will get nothing, no investment, no growth no 'hope or aspiration' only debt and misery.

A typical example of the tories:-

Tories strip £90billion from defence during 13 years of cuts to the military

Sunak rinsing every last drop out of the taxpayer, an asset-stripper, a landlord incessantly putting up the rent while lining the pockets of the rich and his mates.

And behind it all, the dog-whistle immigration call to their mainly elderly supporters.

There are 5 million renters I can't see them voting tory so I think only 20 seats win for labour, but they are too right wing and aligning themselves to a failed economic model.
