Admitted it again and asked for another loan which when given to them they spent on lowering their pension age!!!!! The EU is a juggarnaught heading towards a cliff edge. In fighting and discourse is the buzz word. The Greeks in Athens just take the p!ss out of the EU for fun, they can't believe their luck. Further afield in rural Greece and on the islands such as Crete they generally despise the lazy urbanites who lounge around as others work hard to survive. Many in Athens I met had two or three govt jobs concurrently, hardly attended any of them and had multiple pension benefits
Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance. |

Many Greeks complain about tax evasion by the rich (true) their ire would be more understandable if they weren't also gaming the system themselves. Tax evasion is a Greek right but hey it's always the other guy.

Firstly, apologies. I KNOW I am a boring f***er about my 'Tories deliberately looking to lose the next election and lose it BIG' narrative but this surely has to be proof that I am right? In a year before a general election? Literally, looking to stiff the one group of voters who might still turn out and vote for them? I think there are good arguments to be made around pension reform. But in terms of politicking, the Tories are insane to bring this up now. They really, really, really want to lose to Labour.

Labour are liars and are going to be the disaster everyone expects of them. The Tories though have been nothing short of a nightmare. £1 billion per month overseas aid...along with this 1.6 billion for India from their well travelled son. Vote for the Tories and you're being fecked. They won't even call you a cab home.

I was looking at John Smith demolishing John Major's tory government on youtube in 1993 today looks like a carbon copy with crumbling schools infrastructure scandals etc. 'Grand National that doesn't start and hotels that fall into the sea'. (Actually mild stuff compared to the present situation). The government are stoney faced quiet they know that their time is up, but it's going to drag on 3 more years. Starmer is not such a great orator but he doesn't really have to be, Sunak is a liability his only ability getting in and out of helicopters, endless PR. So 'inaction man' could stick and of course he is an unelected PM not even by tory MPs. The tory dream of a tax-cutting turn-around, but its a situation they created and will only harm the voters whose support they need. They can't borrow their way out post Truss or get enough investment to produce growth particularly as we no longer have single market access to the EU, there will be some but its more losers than winners. Really HS2 is emblematic of the tories total incompetence.

Let's hope that voting public realise that Labour policy will make us all a lot poorer.

Really HS2 is emblematic of the tories total incompetence. That really tickled me for whatever reason, might just be the giddiness of a Friday! If there's one thing that will unite the people of this nation going forward it surely has to be the bottom of the barrel selection of incompetents to vote for. They're all singing from the same hymn sheet as far as I am concerned and cannot even get populism right as they inform all their views of the peasantry from social media these days, an easy to reach platform without getting their shoes muddied. I still hold out hope for a new wave of politician, or even just one, who at least seems cognizant of reality however that day may not come in my lifetime. Arguing between the two parties is like trying to besmirch Sodom from Gomorrah as far as I'm concerned. Or Croydon from Lewisham Both parties an absolute mess.
Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |
