well most of rioters were white so surely landlords and employers would have judged them the same following your logic

When the news first broke Mr. Floyd was described as “a gentle giant”. Fair enough. It now transpires he’d been to prison five or six times for armed robbery, criminal trespass and various drugs offences. He had at least two drugs in his system when the police were called as he was trying to pass counterfeit money.
Of course that’s no justification for his death but how many of the protesters would’ve been delighted if he’d moved in next door to them?

This guy will go on to become a saint!

There will be statues of him, a film made and probably a Floyd George Tower block named after him in Peckham

Come at this from a different angle. Try and understand that if you come from a segment of society when everybody around you is involved in crime in someway or the other then to see a fellow criminal murdered in this way, and lets not beat around the bush here about the actions that Cop took. Kneeling on sombody's neck for 8 minutes is never going to go well, then you are going to be fearful. A natural fight or flight reaction kicks in. The cops truly are your enemy and that is why we as a society have them. To stop criminals.

Essentially that man who died was them. No wonder they kick off. But the key to why it becomes so widespread is the left jumping on this. Telling the underclass that their actions are justified. That the reasons they are criminals is that it is not their fault. Essentially they are left to rot by the Left. Almost all these cities are controlled by the Left. Their Mayors are Left. Their Police chiefs are Left-leaning. And they exist in a world of violence we simply cannot understand. Effectively allowed to turn feral and allowed to exist in a vacuum of nihilistic brutality.

Again the Right get the blame but for the reasons I have listed elsewhere it makes almost no logical sense. Why would those of on the Right want an underclass to exist? We cannot even exploit them because they are unemployable.

But the Left? They love them in the s***. The perfect vehicle for them to exploit and enjoy.

Ironically all this behaviour does is make things worse for the black community.

If you are an employee or a landlord and you have many people after a job or a house and you see that mob on the street attacking people, spraying paint and throwing stuff, you are going to be even more sceptical about offering It to black person.

Publicly you may say all the right stuff, you may in your heart even believe it, however when it comes to actually doing something which may affect you then that’s different.

You are wholly incorrect

The Poll tax riot is a great example of violence changing things but it was a single issue campaign. Those who rioted knew what they stood against and it was within the power of HMG to quickly change its mind.

As to jobs or rent then to be fair, given the state of the scabby dreadlocked white rioters, you aint going to give them much of a chance even before that but their actions achieved something that day. No point in denying it.

Perhaps white people are just better at mayhem when push comes to shove?

what I meant was in the original comment it was stated " If you are an employee or a landlord and you have many people after a job or a house and you see that mob on the street attacking people, spraying paint and throwing stuff, you are going to be even more sceptical about offering It to black person."

In the poll tax riots the rioters were predominantly white would landlords and employers be more sceptical about offering accommodation or employment to white people because the rioters were white?

It's simple comparison

Probably sceptical offering jobs to crusty white people, yes.

The poll tax was a terrible idea and everyone knew the issue. Today most don’t know what the protest is for, beyond a man killed in another country by a white cop, when black on black deaths can’t be addressed because stop and search infringes civil liberties. The whole thing is screwed and people not getting involved will be thinking the same.

There is a subtle distinction in your reply which I'm sure you are aware of

But a fair percentage of the protesters in London weren’t ghetto gangstas- they’re the ones I meant.
