Todays first download is a set by Foreigner that was recorded in Philadelphia on the 1st December 1978. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from a Pre-FM broadcast of the show on the "Superstars In Concert" Radio Show. I've posted a few bootlegs by Foreigner over the years - this is one of the best sounding. A good setlist which features the bands classics "Feels Like The First Time" and "Cold As Ice" - if you like Foreigner - this is thoroughly recommended..... Todays first download is a set by Blue Oyster Cult that was recorded in Largo, Maryland in 1976. The quality of the set is superb and has been taken from the soundboard. This is a wicked show which features the bands two most well known songs - a wicked version of "Born To Be Wild" followed by the classic "Don't Fear The Reaper"... this rocks big time and is thoroughly recommended.... Todays second download is a set by Golden Earring that was recorded at the Cobo Arena, Detroit, MI in November 1974. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from an FM broadcast of the show on the famous King Biscuit Flower Hour radio show. This is only a short set of seven songs but a 12 minute version of the bands biggest hit "Radar Love" makes this thoroughly recommended. Todays first download is a set by Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band that was recorded in Paris, France in 1985 on the "Born In The USA Tour". This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from a dvd rip of the show. This is the full show and lasts nearly 3 hours... and features nearly all of the Born In The USA album as well as a few others like "Glory Days" and "Born To Run".... Springsteen isnt my favourite artist, but some people do like his stuff... so if you like BS&TESB you will probably like this one...... Here is a download link I found for :- Live At Parc Paysager De La Courneuve, Paris, France 29.6.85 - Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band (Bootleg) Quality : Superb Tracklisting : Disc 1 : Disc 2 : Disc 3 : Download Links : Disc 1 : [Link] Filesize : 252MB (Including Artwork) NB: Files are hosted on Mediafire so you can download all 3 at the same time - even as a free user! Todays second download is a set by Gong that was recorded in Lyon, France in 1972. This is the best sounding boot by Gong from this era that I've ever heard - the audio for this is really superb considering its age and has been taken from the soundboard. I saw this band a few times in the 1970's including a gig at the Greyhound in Croydon. No Steve Hillage on guitars on this one, but its still a top show featuring Daevid Allen, Bloomdido Bad De Grasse and Tim Blake on the synths.... this is a wicked show and is thoroughly recommended..... Here is a download lInk I found for :- Live in Lyon, France 14.12.72 - Gong (Bootleg) Quality : Superb Tracklisting : Disc one (0:59:59) Disc two (0:54:22) Download Link : [Link] Filesize : 192KB (Including Alt Artwork and Tracklisting) Run Time : 1:54:21 The Line-up : Enjoy! Hi staffie, No idea how far ahead you can get albums and my guess is that the is incredibly early, but it only just came into my mind so I thought I might as well ask if that's ok? Any signs of the album Calvin Harris, by Calvin Harris, due to be released in October? Thanks, CC
Palace Radio: What exactly does David Wright bring to the side? Alan Lee: Nothing. |
