I want to see him beaten in court and, if necessary, at the ballot box. I hate all kinds of physical violence. I believe you beat bad ideas with better ideas and calm reasoning.

The recording artist Moby unwittingly reveals that the intelligence service colluded with him to spread the Steele dossier accusation that Trump was a Russian agent....something that the inquiry proved they knew all along was misinformation. This goes on all the time and is of course completely out of order that intelligence/security services worked against a sitting president. Even worse when there was no proof. [Tweet Link]

Edited by Stirlingsays (10 Dec 2023 5.53pm) Oh goodie a man who uses social media to amplify hateful lies and pour misery onto bereaved parents (and endanger them in the process due to morons believing his rants and targeting them) has been let back onto Twitter. Just days before the anniversary of Sandy Hook no less. Great work, Elon!

Just days before the anniversary of Sandy Hook no less. Great work, Elon! Good, kudos to Elon. You use social media to amplify hate....it's just the hate you agree with. Alex Jones was wrong on Sandy Hook and deserved pushback and criticism. However, he apologized years ago and said he was wrong but your crew of hate has made him bankrupt for having unpopular opinions. But it's people like you who can't accept an apology. But times are changing now and progressives are losing power and it's the best thing that's happened for a long time. Free speech is not about protecting the speech what you agree with.

If you bothered to watch his trial you'd have seen him row back and forth as to whether or not he believed Sandy Hook was a conspiracy. And perhaps one would argue that if he felt any legitimate remorse he'd have turned up to the final judgement and show contrition rather than broadcast live online from miles away mocking the whole process. Therefore no, I can't accept his apology. Also reference he only offered a meek apology when he knew he was going to be sued for defamation. What a stand up guy, eh? As to your word soup about me personally using social media for hate - nope, can't say I do. My expectation is that social media platforms take a view on disallowing those who make up/repudiate vile lies and target individuals as it can lead to incredibly negative outcomes. People mistake using an internet website as their right to total free speech no matter what they say. Many, including this one, have rules stating the contrary. And I can't say the Hol has ever infringed my freedom of speech!

And I can't say the Hol has ever infringed my freedom of speech! You literally just gave an opinion that demonised hate onto Alex Jones - who you hate - and then in the next paragraph say that social media should not allow hateful speech. Like here, describing Jones's apology as false and opportunistic. As if you have some kind of insight into whether anyone other than yourself is sincere about an apology or not. I been hearing Jones make apologies for Sandy Hook for years. But apparently you have a magical insight. So no, I don't accept your demonsied characterisation because it doesn't come from a place of balance. You are exactly what I described. You are fine with the hate you agree with and find it hard to accept opinions that disagree with you. You aren't interested in allowing speech you disagree with......So you end up creating the very thing you claim to oppose. Here's an idea, if you don't like someone just don't listen to them. However, don't decide for others what ideas they can decide on. Like I say, it's a good thing that people like yourself are losing power now. Unlike you, we won't stop you from speaking though....But it'll always be remembered that your type abused power when they had it. Edited by Stirlingsays (10 Dec 2023 8.11pm)

Just because someone says the CIA asked him to do something doesn’t mean they did! Indeed it seems incredibly unlikely they would officially. They would arrange things under the radar. Does this guy really have friends in the intelligence community, or is he just fantasising? What would be the point? It would not influence the enquiry which effectively produced a “not proven” verdict because Trump was a sitting President at the time. At the time the Steele report was commissioned he wasn’t. He was a candidate. The CIA has a duty to the USA. That’s where its loyalty is founded. Not in who happens to be, or wants to be, the President. Should there be any suspicion that anyone, President or not, is being disloyal then they have a duty to investigate. If there is nothing to see then nothing will be seen. Something was seen. It was though hidden from view by Bill Barr so we haven’t yet seen it. It still exists though, so maybe we will, if it becomes necessary. Don’t bet on Trump.
