The nasty party being revived but they never went away. The UK is in a parlous state you struggle to find anything that they have not ruined. Today its prisons, asylum, 90% of rivers blighted by sewage, Windrush compensation, brexit, child poverty etc.etc. new list every day. I can only think of one thing that has bucked the trend since 2010. Crystal Palace FC. Just shows anything is possible.

The Tories have been s***. No denying that. Literally gifted a massive majority in 2019 thanks to Starmer championing his utterly insane second referendum policy and yet have done almost nothing. Apart from literally ham-string themselves. Makes you think. Almost like it has been deliberate.

It's not just that the Tories and Labour are both bad, all governments of all shades, at every level are incompetent, perilous spendthrifts. They are all useless and one should vote for those who propose the least 'government' (in theory, usually the Conservatives). Governments should provide the basic essential services and leave everything else to the market and the people.

No point in actually claiming the post if you can’t fight for your own voters and ask their opinion even. That’s the scared pussies bit as the truth puts them on the spot to actually have to fight. Absolute joke.

[Tweet Link] Dear old Soapy...she spends her life on line ranting either about how virtually anything suggested by the Labour party and quite a few things suggested by the Tories are anti working class or being self congratulatory about her successes in life are so great despite her being disabled and neuro divergent. Most of her rants are in response to stuff on GB news where she is wheeled out as a voice of youth and quite a few are such that they are big on rant and short on facts. But dare I say it sometimes the girl has a point and she can be a valid voice but this sometimes seems to get a bit lost in the constant stream of living her life on social media. But she is young and fair play to her not many young people these days actually have an interest in politics let alone commentate on it.

On inflation, that is the one pledge Sunak could get away with delivering. not because of anything he has done, but as it is due to tail off by the end of 2023 anyway. But here we go:- 'Sharp rise in cost of food basics forces UK families to make desperate choices’. And just so we don't get any pleasure in life he weighs in with completely unnecessary tax increases on beers and spirits which the trade says will depress their business further.

I agree, they should cut taxes and slash government spending.

Oh no, more poor destitute families having to choose between KFC and McDonalds or Turkey and Benidorm. Take the self wallowing pity and shove it, get with the game and actually realise life ain’t meant to be easy. Work hard and be part of the system. Life ain’t a free run, yes it has its issues and some just get bad f***ing luck but generally. In the UK, it’s safe and rarely will you starve to death. Also health care at point of use for Tiffany’s broken nail or brads split ends. Or some manky immigrant who’s come for some spurious reason not being a war or famine. Pissed off with lily livered politicians and their ilk.

Says the Guardian Producer price index which is more relevant to prices going forward is on downward trend. Sad to see alcohol is your only pleasure
Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance. |
