This is why we have the global civilization that we have today. Research is constantly finding new evidence that gives us insight into the complex story of mankind's evolution, but what is clear is that all humanity has its origins in the central rift valley of Africa. Britain like all countries has always been multicultural, continually absorbing and assimilating new ideas. we are all the better for it. This is just a question of numbers. Replacement has happened before, so it's not a fallacy and could easily be calculated using a computer simulation.
I also find it the height of hypocrisy when we are all supposed to concern ourselves with the plight of anyone who has a darker skin tone, and yet are not allowed to be a little worried about the very existence of our own tribe. Edited by Hrolf The Ganger (18 Sep 2021 10.37am)

Edited by Hrolf The Ganger (18 Sep 2021 10.37am) It’s not a case of concern or denial. More a case of what are you really worried about? It has been happening like that for tens of thousands of years and there is no way that it is going to stop now. To hold against it makes you a Cnut, (that’s not a typo). The sea will come in and then it will go out again and onwards like that forever. We are all just passing through and all things come to an end eventually. A large part of what makes us human is our capacity for empathy and an understanding that the survival of the genes of others is also in the interest of us all. This is why humans have succeeded, as we are capable of cooperation and mutual support. I believe that we are just beginning to see that the health of everyone is our priority. Strangely the global environmental crisis that is may well be the thing that brings us together. (It’s still going to take a decade It is not hypocritical to wish everyone has a happy healthy life and that we strive for equality in society, especially standing up for the poor and disadvantage whatever their origins. This is just a desire to retain and nurture the British ideas that have formed us. I agree that the survival of our own genes does tend to be a basic human instinct. Meaning that we pay particular attention to our own family above others. I think, however, that there will be other factors at play in the future. The replacement theory that you write about requires reproduction to continue at the same rate. The evidence around the world shows us that this is not happening. For multiple reasons, it looks like we have probably passed peak population. As people become richer they always have fewer children. This happens very quickly, usually within one generation. The big unknown is biological fertility. This could stop humanity in its tracks. Fertility is falling dramatically around the world and not just in rich countries. The role of pollution would appear to be a major factor in this but social pressures are also important. On top of this birth rates are falling all over the world due to social factors. Many countries have long passed the point of no return as every woman of childbearing age would now be required to have 5 children just to stop the population from falling. Taiwan, South Korea, Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan, Greece, Poland, Italy, Hungary, and many others are all below 1.5 births per woman of childbearing age. The definition of sub-replacement fertility is any rate below approximately 2.1 children born per woman of childbearing age. The rate in Britain today is estimated to be about 1.9 and in France 2.0.

Genes don't survive in the way you think anyhow. Only some of your genes are passed on directly, and they dilute through each generation. Just say you don't care but don't try to pretend it won't happen. I'd just like to know how the same people would react if the boot was on the other foot. I think we all know the answer.

They aren't saying this stuff on here on account that legions of people in their lives are open eared to it. It's a tricky one, as on one hand I'm pleased there is a semi mainstream outlet, as we see first hand the ill advised avenues that are otherwise gravitated to. On the other though, I see it as unfortunate for those reading these threads. There is a reason that the only 'black' bloke here that people liked hilariously wasn't even black anyway and the only actual black individual received hateful anonymous phonecalls and six on one pile-ins. It's more a bunker than a place to share views. That there was serious discussion that kuge might be a 'paid troll' or a member of a 'sleeper cell' tells you just how far gone some are. The common factor with them really is a complete lack of basic and genuine socialisation. It's not even so much about a lack of affinity for other tribes, it's that they are so far removed even from their own tribe that they can espouse views that are detached from understood norms and understandings of how people interact and get along. We can all put the world to rights in solitary confinement, and in terms of mentally that's what you see here.

There is some utter utter rubbish being written here. I'd love to chime in and refute a lot of it and suggest personality and socialisation issues in the writers as well, as that appears to be the order of the day. However, it isn't on the topic thread that the OP specifically asked to be respected so I'm basically staying out. So you can continue your own little personal 'pile on'. A thread could be created to continue this, which would mean the the OPs request was actually respected. Edited by Stirlingsays (18 Sep 2021 12.55pm)

That is all reasonable. The problem for Europeans is the relative birth rates between new waves of immigrants and the existing population, which itself is obviously becoming less European over time. I concede that it won't matter in the sense that no one will notice from one generation to the next. In fact, we might be the only generation that notices real demographic shift, given the rapid change over the last 50 years.

Whether the person saying it to me is black, white, green or yellow, I am averse to any idea that it's better to procreate with this person or that racially. I see it as an attack on the dignity of the children that result from what may well be a loving relationship, and indeed how they are then likely to be treated by others. People can make their own decisions on who they partner with, and immigration policy and the like. That's about the extent of a persons control in this regard though. Beyond that, I see these outlooks inferring how people should behave and procreate as doing more harm than good - and as I say they are demeaning children who are genetically no better or worse, or of less or more belonging than anyone in your life.

That has nothing to do with it. We are talking about demographics, not the feelings of children or who you want to have sex with.
