Glad you've enjoyed this season so much and that your crystal ball makes you correct. I expect them to be better than us next season, and if they're not, they won’t break the bank either. It's us with the mad wages for permanently injured players, not them. It's us thinking it's great if we luck out a nil nil draw. Our aspirations are zero. Who knows, maybe there's a plan? I can guarantee Norwich have one. For goodness sake. It doesn't need Einstein to see the plan does it. We are where exactly in the U18 league? I love it when a plan comes together

Roy is not the future.... he never really was... he was a stop gap manager to hold the line and the budget... it's that simple. Does Howe deserve a crack at the prep? Personally he should be in a champ club proving his worth, he failed at the prem in all honesty. I feel a champ level manager with potential should be considered for us. I also think we should totally restructure ourselves and Parish should come out and say it. For instance, a yo yo club doesn't break the bank to get promoted from the champ, they don't break the bank to stay in the league either. They get in the prem, have a couple of years, collecting the money, go down, have another go, you get an exciting season then back in the big league. I feel for us, we should look at the league as split in two. Top ten, bottom ten. Top ten you got your united, cities, Chelseas etc they all spend big, as the reward is bigger, the demand is bigger. We should not be held hostage to this league and be terrified of going down... relegation should not be the end of the world, that just shows piss poor club management. do I want us to be a yoyo club, no... do I want us spending big bucks... nope. Do I want some excitement, 100%. Over simplistic view which only works when you make the assumption that once relegated you WILL get promoted again the next season. The Championship is a very hard fought league. Yes Norwich may yoyo this season but look at all the clubs that have got relegated and not been able to make it back immediately. Blackburn won the Prem, now look at them. Swindon, Blackpool, Wigan, Bolton and Bradford were all prem teams. My hometown team of Middlesbrough went down, couldn't get straight back up and haemorrhaged losing all there best players and all the good work that was done over years unravels back to square one. Most secure way to ensure your financial future is to do everything you can to stay in the top flight.....and that is exactly what we have done. Edited by Mwncisee (08 Apr 2021 4.29pm)

tbh if we got Dyche I think we'd be pleasantly surprised the way we were with Pulis and Allardyce - pragmatism does not always mean having to be direct. Dyche would use our flair players effectively - you see the same solid 4-4-2 that we have with Roy, but Dyche is a bright bloke who will no doubt find tactics to suit his players rather than vice-versa.

I agree, plus he won't listen to any cry baby bull from the players. He's the best choice for us in my opinion. He also knows how to get hard work out of players and buy hard working, determined players. Something we often lack.

IF, we end up with Dyche, i would like for him to prise Ben Mee away from Burnley so he could partner Cahill in central defence, just my opinion.
