You’ve just said we shouldn’t sell except for a huge amount of money. So what’s your answer (opinion)? And if we don’t sell these players, do we accept we don’t buy anyone and then in a year’s time have absolutely nobody to even play upfront, let alone score upfront.

I have said it once and il say it again. If United are willing to pay 50-60-70 million for an unproven player, then take their hand off. He can be replaced at a fraction of that cost.

One more time. Top home grown players are worth more than money to Palace because we can't sign top players with all the money in the world. Agreed that you cannot lure top players without offering European football, higher profile, better stadium or a salary that could not be countenanced - although Cabaye was regarded as quite the coup But with our resources you need to buy well to improve the whole team. Getting the odd Wan-Bissaka or Johnny Williams from the academy just will not suffice If we were lucky we would end up with the equivalent of a Bolasie, Milivojevic and Dann. Very lucky would obviously be getting a Zaha

Apparently the lad has indicated he wants to go, therefore we should sanction the sale at the 55 - 60 mil mark. This should allow us to keep Zaha and invest a bit in the squad, at least a full back or two, and maybe a forward. He is a fantastic talent but thats a shed load of money and if he has now come out and said he wants to leave, its best to let it happen now for the right price.

It's only a matter of time before it's announced. He'll have a crackin summer with England and everyone in the know will say what a great deal blah blah. How we spend the money, is another thing. Zaha looks likely to stay in london (for personal reasons) so this season is make or break.

Have to agree - and in essence if we value Zaha at £70m and of the sell on is indeed 20% we’ve done a deal on AWB to the value of potentially £65m+. That’s a great bit of business by the club.

They are very similar in the sense of the role they play, box to box play it simple. I didn't think much of him when he broke into the Utd team under Jose but he put in some good performances last season and scored a couple of decent goals. Wouldn't be unhappy about this and he's the kind of unsung hero centre mid that would do well here.

Sell AWB, buy Sessegnon for £35m and Castagne or Dumfries for £25m, that’s our fullback worries on both sides sorted with top quality players.
