'Our politics no longer a tory box-set video anymore'. Rishi Sunak (2 days ago). Still at least he got an Atlantic Charter - but even then Boris has got one already. Whatever it meant.

Yep, I haven't a clue what that means.....Labour being stronger maybe....don't know, pretty weird.

You have misquoted what Sunak said in May at the time of the local elections , not 2 days ago. No surprises there. How's the reply on racist anti semitism coming along?
Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance. |

The incompetence of the tories is off the scale, it has become beyond measure. It is only surpassed by the Bank of England and of course brexit. 'UK government debt rises above 100% of GDP for first time since 1961. In blow to Rishi Sunak’s plans to cut taxes before general election, net debt reached £2.6tn at of end of May'. These people just carry on as if nothing has happened.

We had better all emigrate to South Africa.

Thames Water. For years they've been ignoring Regulations and letting the water system fall into disrepair. Meanwhile sucking the coffers dry (much like our reservoirs) with huge bonuses to shareholders. Hmmm. What could go wrong ? "The government has said it is prepared for a "range of scenarios" following reports that Thames Water could be on the brink of collapse. Thames Water is under pressure over its performance and reportedly struggling under £14bn of debt." (BBC website)
I disengage, I turn the page. |

Watch as water bills sky-rocket for system upgrading, instead of getting the bonuses back from shareholders.

Many of them are owned by foreigners who leach money and do nothing to upgrade. Meanwhile, immigrants are increasing our population rapidly. Can anyone see what's going to happen? We need more reservoirs, better infrastructure and fewer The financial cost will be significant, but the alternative doesn't bare thinking about.

Water companies are just following the tory failed privatisaton model. The utilities are just a vehicle to make money for their shareholders and a source for them to borrow ever more, and scarper when it all goes wrong, and the taxpayer has to step in to protect essential services.

We agree for a change. The essential utilities should be nationalised. They would be run inefficiently of course, but they are too important to be in private (and often foreign) hands.
