'Boris Johnson has just set fire to Rishi Sunak's Downing Street'. New levels of incompetence/corruption as the Government seek a judicial review to prevent the inquiry they themselves set up from operating. BJ meanwhile, thinks he will go direct, anyway. Or does he? We should care, but I think this is out of road.

Boris Johnson rewards key allies in resignation honours list
Former secretaries of state Simon Clarke and Mr Rees-Mogg were given knighthoods, while Priti Patel was made a dame. Tees Valley Mayor Benjamin Houchen and London Assembly member Shaun Bailey are among seven nominations for peerages. Former minister Nadine Dorries was not put forward for the House of Lords. She stood down as an MP "with immediate effect" an hour before the honours list was released. Some of Mr Johnson's closest advisers during his premiership were handed OBEs, including two former directors of communications, Jack Doyle and Guto Harri." (BBC website) Haven't seen reward for failure given such esteemed awards in ages. Some of these were lucky to avoid police investigation into their COVID activities

Well, that's because they can't physically vote nor understand what's going on but that's besides the point. Still, most of today's politicians would still probably be an improvement if they all turned into Turkeys.....Baggsy I get to pluck Penny Mordaunt.
