Something of note from last night. CNN had a reporter on the scene near a wire fence separating protesters and police. Occasionally someone tried to break through it, while other protesters fought to stop them. It was the kind of situation that could've gone either way, that thankfully it remained calm. However, the reporter kept talking about this damn fence for about 5 minutes and highlighting that it didn't seem all that secure. 24 hour rolling news has inevitably become about dramatic live moments but half reporting, half encouraging something lawless to happen was how I saw it.

I have never had an issue telling others what I believe. I don't use pretence. Unlike you I don't hide behind another name.

I'll state it again, my level of interest in the yellow vest movement is minimal and was mainly confined to complaining about its hidden coverage.

I certainly view Macron as an autocrat, that's true but your comparisons are ridiculous. I may have a view on the behaviour of individual Police officers and that would be on a individual bases.

My attitudes towards law and order are similar anywhere in the world. If the Yellow vests were rioting and smashing up their communities then I would have no issues with clearing the streets.

You on the other hand tried to pass off those WH protestors who had burned and damaged an historical church, harassed Police and tried to enter the White house....you tried to pass them off as peaceful.

Sure I missed it. However, I'm not a wuss who whines about every little bit of aggression another male might show.

While I wouldn't celebrate violence I certainly have no issues with clearing the streets of criminals. The limp wristed views like yours of inaction have seen innocents being put in body bags and hospitals....businesses and homes destroyed....Sitting on your hands has its own costs in lives.
