Todays first download is a set by Joni Mitchell that was recorded in Brussels, Belgium while on the European stage of her 1983 World tour. This is in supern quality and the sound has been taken from a pre FM broadcast of the show. I've posted a few previous bootlegs by Joni from this tour - this is another top sounding show with an excellent setlist. She performs her biggest solo hit "Big Yellow Taxi" quite early in the show and ends with the classics "Both Sides Now" and "Woodstock". This is an excellent show - thoroughly recommended... Todays second download is the first bootleg or album that I've posted by this band. They are called Blackberry Smoke and they play southern country/rock. This is a show that was recorded at the Moondance Jam in Walker, Minnesota in July 2010. The quality of this bootleg is unbelievable - pin drop perfect sound, the audio has been taken from a HDTV Broadcast DVD Rip. This band really rock - if you don't know them give them a try - this is thoroughly recommended.... Todays first download is a bootleg of early mixes by Talking Heads for the bands album "More Songs About Buildings And Food" that was released in 1978. These mixes are in superb quality and have been taken from the soundboard, and as far as is known, they have not appeared on any other recording. There was no info available with the download as to where and when these were recorded - but it doesnt really matter as the music is what counts - and that is fantastic. If you like Talking Heads you will definitely want this one...... Todays second download is another set by Aldo Nova which is following on from the one I posted recently. This is a show he played in St Louis, Missouri in 1984. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from an FM Broadcast of the show. This is another wicked performance by AN and his band - which are a really tight unit. I've only recently discovered this artist, but I'm glad I did... this is great stuff... thoroughly recommended.
