Showed tonight why he's still here. Have you ever seen a player with so much talent who was so easy to completely knock out of a game with just a little winding up?

Unrelated point, but can everyone going tonight give Ward-Prowse plenty of grief. Dirty little gimp has a go at Wilf every time we play them.

Youv got to admit he's a good player.

Iv said it for years myself. There is no way a top club will ever sign him. He is too much of a distraction but to be fair to him he was just outclassed by Ward prowse tonight.

I thought this for the first time ever tonight. His petulance is embarrassing and he is such an easy target for opposition. He’s such a quality footballer but let’s himself down with this.

Amazing he got through the match without at least a yellow. He was lucky not to get a red for the poke in the eye when walking to the tunnel. I think his heads gone and he’s probably missed his chance for the move to a big club.

Out classed also by our dead same every game tactics.
Tired as hell players all over the place.
No width from out of position right back means their right back has an easy as hell game. Their manager saw that and said yup James Ward can do that simple job for me as Riedewald cant exactly bomb forward due to the rigid tactics, first half especially its painful to see.

Who did we play a few hours ago..
same old players roll them out..
Don’t stretch yourself first half lads or by 60 mins they are dead on their feet..
Bit of a shame to lose to such an average team but there’s always next week for the same eleven to prove us wrong..

I’m happy to clap the effort at the end, but that is not enjoyable for Zaha (or Ayew) ya know so why expect him to continually be a world beater in every game. I dunno

When Zaha did get the ball, he had 3 players round him and no support.
Basically Soton did a job on us, and deserved to win but they are a nasty little team though

Did you not see Palace vs Southampton last January? Many, many occasions when he's been completely nullified by opponents winding him up, with rat-faced Ward Prowse clearly the expert at this point.

We need Andros back to vary the attack

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance.

We need Watkins from Brentford or a similar youngish talent to move the team further up the pitch

Agree with the above.
I remember seeing Alan Dunn do exactly the same at the den a good few years ago. Zaha was really young then and that was perhaps a reason/excuse, no excuse tonight with hundreds of games under his belt.
