My main issue with this particular story is that a few things don't quite stack up.
But worse how in any measure of a joyous celebratory event would you pick Palace Luton?. Subjecting a mere child to that level of torture is just wrong.

So would anyone feel apprehension , or concern, about sending an unaccompanied young female relative into certain shops in Northern England ? Just asking, Because when Palace play Milwall/Brighton, for example, I may take extra precautions, regardless of the fact I may be stereotyping the majority of well-behaved fans.
I disengage, I turn the page. |

Like anywhere there are places I would go and places I would not. Not based on anything on particular other than everywhere there is good and bad. But equally that is fear bourne of ignorance sometimes. I have had great times in some supposedly no go areas. Not sure it's a north south thing

I see that the case against Robinson, after his arrest in November, has been thrown out by the courts. Just like the praying silently case was. Just like the gay-cake case was. It is disgraceful that these authoritarian moves are attempted in the first place.

Because a policeman put the wrong date on some paperwork, thus making it inadmissible and the case to collapse. What is disgraceful is that small human errors like this, for policemen are human and make mistakes, can allow people to get away with crimes. That’s what needs attention.

You could argue that in Hungary the country is run by one.

It’s always a big deal when racist rabble rousers get taken down and a matter of regret whenever due process fails due to administrative errors. The more groomers get detected, sufficient evidence collected to satisfy the CPS, tried, found guilty and locked away, the better. Everyone needs to support the police in their efforts to do this and not to distract them by stupid publicity stunts.

Reading this just reaffirms my knowledge that the left are awful people and their politics has taken a giant dump on this country. It's worse in most statistics, especially social compared to the social conservatism of the past. They are responsible for that, their hubris and denialism is mental illness in action. Kick out the fifth columnists along with the economic migrants....as for the peados....I don't think it's legal what I think should happen there. Edited by Stirlingsays (27 Apr 2024 9.04pm)

Imo They believed that because it was TR the judge would find guilt in just that fact.

I find it amazing that anyone can blame the “left” for anything in our country. We have had 14 years of conservative government and before that 13 years of “New Labour” which was hardly left at all. Much more social democratic than anything else. Before that 11 years of Thatcherism. Not too much left there was there? How long since we had anything really left? Wilson? Attlee? It’s obvious that there is a huge difference in understanding about what constitutes being left between those on the hard right fringe and the rest. It seems that for them even traditional One Nation Tories are part of the left, whilst for most others they are clearly a major part of the right. All the time basic terminology conveys different meanings to different people there is unlikely to be any understanding, let alone a consensus on what is needed.
