They should focus on the individuals arrested, start doing short videos or something on their lives. Would remove any debate and just demonstrate the misery of their existence. It's not about the things they are targeting, it's not even about oil. It's all about them and their pain. I would report them to the Equality Commission. Not much diversity in that mob, when was the last time you saw a none white face.

The 'Uneducated Educated' filled with a set of ideological beliefs from only one side of a discussion. I assume that they cycled to Stonehenge from their squat somewhere, as the bus service there is a bit erratic.
hats off to palace, they were always gonna be louder, and hate to say it but they were impressive ALL bouncing and singing. |

I'm sticking my neck out here, but in my experience of working in some pretty diverse places, my black and asian colleagues have tended to be much less concerned about "green issues" than the average Joe or Joanne. Perhaps the climate loonies will target the Notting Hill Carnival one day, as it must surely have one of the largest carbon footprints of any event in Europe. I'd be interested to see the reaction of yer average carnival-goer. Edited by YT (19 Jun 2024 4.29pm)

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance. |

A landmark decision at the Supreme Court for campaigner Sarah Finch, now planning permission for fossil fuel projects will have to consider the effects on the climate. Quite remarkable, in this case activism has produced change that's why it is so necessary, the fossil fuel lobby would prevent it in our political system.

Judicial activism. Parliament did not include this in the law, whether they should have iss another matter. The courts should not make new law that is Parliaments job.
