The first manager thats in after Roy, will find out just how bad Roy has left the club. Survival football means a club doesn't develop and Palace under Roy, its just stagnation, no desire to win a cup, just to achieve 40 points is his only target...

to all the Roy haters, you will really hate what manager comes after Roy.

And if you do not believe me....Remember all the poxy managers before Roy.

What a puerile statement that is. It takes no account of the financial constraints Roy has had to work under, which Pullis and Allardyc refused to do. Look further than Roy for the reason why the club has not progressed.

@PZEagle

What do you mean by "financial restraints"?

We have the 9th highest player budget in the Premier League!

So more than half of the clubs in this league have more "restraints" than us.

Still think Roy is doing a good job?

Financial restraints - reportedly around £1bn has passed through the coffers during this latest stint in the Prem.

Largely spent by Pardew and Allardyce whose ageing players are still here on big money and long or extended contracts because of our inactivity in the transfer market.

As PZ pointed out Allardyce clearly didn't fancy our chances.

We needed a talented midfielder ever since Cabaye left. We finally spend to buy one. Eze looks great every time he's played. Roy has him on the bench. He starts Luka over Eze for god's sake.

That alone has to enrage SP. If we continue to look hopeless, and we have a talented young offensive midfielder on the bench, it's hard to defend Roy.

Not including todays Leeds game...

Palace form, last six months ie from June due to Lockdown. WLLLLLLLLDWWLLDWL thats 11 (L), 4 (W), 2 (D) or 14 points from last 51 points available, all under Roy. thats the reality of the form guide......

Is that good enough to keep Roy as manager?

Maybe SP will act after yet another lame home performance where we allow Leeds over 70% possession,even though we are the home team and slump to an inevitable defeat.
