I think the Oxford English Dictionary needs to update their definition of Stupid to include the phrase "Labour Party".

I cannot believe how stupid they were in Hartlepool the most Brexit voting area of the country.

Starmer and his cohorts decided to parachute into the constituency a failed MP not from "Pool" and kicked out by the voters in 2019 and for good measure an unrepentant Remainer.

They did this over the wishes of the local party when they must have known that they would have a battle on their hands.

Clement Attlee did charity and social work in Limehouse for many years he was well known amongst the people and although middle class and educated he was vastly respected by the working class poor because he put a shift in. It's why the Labour Party asked him to stand as their candidate and dethrone the sitting Liberal Party MP.

These days why bother earning your stripes in local politics. Go to Uni then onto head office or a cushy job as an assistant in Parliament, get yourself a nice suit and wait until you get parachuted into a local constituency, and it would help if you are part of the alphabet soup brigade.

Stupid is as stupid does.

At times I have actually thought that Starmer is a tory government appointment, he is that bad.

No policies.

No ideas.

Votes with the government even though they do not need it.

Totally Westminster-centric, an establishment figure.

If he was ever elected it would be a continuation of tory rule.

Great at taking responsibility (by blaming everybody else).

More punishment due yet before he gets the message.

As I have suggested numerous times, the UK is ripe for a new party that deals with the real issues of the country and doesn’t pander to either the Eton elite or the whining minorities.

Impossible probably given the dicks that inhabit all parties these days, but you never know, stranger things have happened.

Complete agreement. Sadly lib dems not the answer. They were down with the monster raving loons on votes in hartlepool.

Just when you thought it couldn't get any worse for Starmer and Labour:

John Bercow has joined the Labour Party.

Yes, George Galloway

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance.

who knows if the Sun report is true.?

[Link]

Doesn't matter if it's true or not, the public have seen it now.

Still surprised people remember who Starmer is,..or his policies,...or that he leads a party called Labour.

I disengage, I turn the page.

Nothing to see hear plenty of politicians and celebs blag freebie tickets for major sporting events. I don't like it but there will be probably be more Tories doing it than Labour simply because they are the government. The biggest blaggers of all are UEFA and their corporate chums. I expect there will be a few EU mandarins in there as well.

A friend went into the original ballot and got tickets either for the final or the semi final. This was back in 2019 when they relaunched the competition he was told sorry due to social distancing you've lost your tickets which were near the Royal box.

He knows roughly where he would have sat and every England game it's been packed with celebs and probably corporate blaggers. So he got bumped for the great and the good.

Yes, sport is just another con, as with everything else in life, those celebs taking the place of a real fan who wanted to see the game and not just a photo opportunity for instagram.
