Just chalk it down to minus one striker, or should I say minus two with Daly leaving. Well done CPFC management you’ve left us right in it.

Well done, he was very rusty when played lately. Disagree. The best way to ascertain that is watching him right here in red and blue. Absolutely bizzare decision. Roy's never liked him mind.

Nothing against Wickham, I was rooting for him, but he was a disaster for us due to his incredible fragility. Yes, he's healthy now, and yes, he looked halfway decent. But if we had kept him, would you bet that he would stay healthy for this year and next? Or would it be more likely that he'd be out injured again? When he was out for 2-3 years, we were all hoping he'd get well enough that we could dump him, and that finally happened. Moving on from Wickham makes a lot of sense. Now for Benteke...

But he's literally come on in his last two games and score a goal in each (okay Fernandinho scored, but Wickham's run made it). Isn't that exactly the sort of goalscorer we've been crying out for?

Letting let him go, very strange, but for the player, he has chance of real game time, but at City (well both) Norwich/Man City, his movement that lead to goals was good, and great reading.. playing more would have benefited CP... or is Benteke now ready to step up.. time will now... I hope he remains injury free. But I doubt it.

Jackson.. Wan Bissaka.... Sansom.. Nicholas.. Cannon.. Guehi.... Zaha... Thomas.. Byrne... Holton.. Rogers.. that should do it.. |

Can't really understand this. Do we think that Roy was happy to let him go or the board were pressing to lower the wage bill.

Good luck to him. Hopefully he stays fit and bangs them in. Then we'll either have a rejuvenated striker on our hands in the summer or Sheff Wed will be looking to spend a decent bit of money. The lad deserves a bit of luck and game time after the dreadful last few years.
