He'd be quite introverted though as every time he'd try to go into a pub he'd be greeted with You're Bard
Living down here does have some advantages. At least you can see them cry. |

Classic conspiracy theory. This site is so full of it. Highly unlikely. I assume you are an anti-Stratfordian because our Bill wasn’t posh enough to be so successful. I've just seen this. Shakespeare, 'the real person' never travelled outside of England. Edward De Vere is the most likely candidate. Snobbery has nothing to do with it, as far as I'm aware.

That we know of. As I said in my post many of Shakespeare's foreign plays are based on classic / well known stories myths and legends. Shakespeare may not have traveled abroad but he could also have added colour from talking to merchants and travellers who did. I would recommend reading This is Shakespeare by Emma Smith. This is not a who was Shakespeare story just a simple explanation of each of his plays and what they mean. You may not change your mind but it showed to me that most of his plays had source material so who ever he was I found it interesting about why he wrote Macbeth etc.

For more evidence of what is happening in this country and corporate political collusion then Lawrence Fox....who by all means is pretty milk toast just posted this. 'If you are concerned about where this country is headed, think about this - @thereclaimparty Also, regardless of having an My car insurance has gone from £1000 a year to £10,000 a year in a the last two years. Why am I a threat to them? If they can do it to me. They WILL do it to you.' Perhaps someone might ask why all this was allowed to happen under a supposedly conservative government. Why the Tories are utter scum. Anybody who voted for us to leave the EU would be utterly insane to ever vote for the Tories ever again. Handed a MASSIVE majority on a plate due to telling us they wanted to 'Get Brexit Done' and still this. If anybody does not believe they are prepping us for going back in then they are fools. I confess to being a f***ing idiot. I held my nose and voted for both May in 2017 and Johnson in 2019 purely on the basis of wanting Brexit to be a success despite me loathing them both. Never again. Stabbed in the back. Not by Labour. Not by the Lib-Dems. But by the Tories. Utter scum.

Bit of chatter about a potential move against Sunak starting to build momentum with a mixture of the recent local elections and the climb down over the scrapping of the EU laws. Suspect it is all just hot air but in this political reality, anything is possible.

Brexit was supposed to fix that. It didn't. Thinking of voting Labour? If they do a deal with the Liberals them we will get a big push for proportional representation and another referendum on Europe. This country is already screwed enough already without that lunacy.
