I disagree with your description of 'peaceful protestors'. Those 'protestors' are responsible for burning down a historical church, attacking state property and businesses nearby. They have tried to enter White House grounds and harassed law enforcement, throwing barriers and objects at them. I'll state again. While there have been 'some' and I repeat, 'some' peaceful protests the actual reality is that cities have been set on fire. People murdered and severely hospitalised and Democratic authorities....who have been using similar language to you have here....those authorities have allowed this 'protest' to continue. The leading attorney Barr authorized that the White House border be extended, so what happened was perfectly legal whatever you may think about it. You condemn the use of the military when the reality is that this inaction has emboldened criminals which make up the vast majority. I fully support Trump's over-riding of the Democrats and clearing the streets and doing what is necessary. What whiny nit pickers think isn't going to bring this to an end. Indeed, I charge people like yourself with having views that have allowed large numbers of people to be hurt, sometimes murdered and businesses and homes to be destroyed. Also, what you think is extreme and what I think is extreme isn't in the same ballpark. So you can waffle all you like. Edited by Stirlingsays (03 Jun 2020 7.37am)

Rubbish, they burnt and badly damaged a historical church, attacked other buildings, tried to get into the White house grounds and harassed and threw stuff at White house enforcement. Typical that you make excuses. Attorney Barr authorized the extending of the White house perimeter. Edited by Stirlingsays (03 Jun 2020 8.28am)

The mix of mass unemployment and civil unrest isn’t going to be pretty. I hope it stays out of this country and some here don’t make an issue of something that isn’t happening here, but I’m not confident it will. There will be lots of filming of police questioning people on social media here. Let’s hope nothing boils over from police doing what they usually do.
