You've not only talked about individual 'extinction' prior, you have used it to convey what you perceive to be genetic extiction. If your concern is our grandchildren being a minority unless you decide to operate by coersive family control regarding others procreation, you don't have meaningful say in racial realities on that level. As such. it's pointless to hold such a detached view of those who will inevitably by your own logic be 'your own' down the line not just some segment of genetic code you're desperately trying to escape from.

Aversions can be taken too far and often creep up and internal issues within families, rather than an external vent,. Well that or being forced to adopt a more realistic outlook about people and how to value them. God forbid. Immigration is realistically the beginning and end point of discussion on these issues. Drift too far from that and you're a walking advertisement for votes in the opposite direction rather than getting anyone onside.

In deal in the truth. I don't need votes.
My 'aversion' is seeing a culture and a people, my culture, my people, effectively replaced in its homelands.

Do you think that is unreasonable? If you do, would you say the same to Aboriginals or Native Americans?

Immigration is of course the root cause, but we shouldn't be cowards and ignore the full implications just because we fear criticism or because some lunatic fringe right wing groups use it as propaganda.

I'm just highlighting realities of what happens when a political view expands to a point of group animus. Input in real terms begins and ends with immigration, and beyond that with the country as it stands people make their own choices. As I say dislike of non white DNA entering your line, by nature means that you'll either (entirely arbitrarily btw) end up with a degree of disliking or distancing of 'your own', or realising that there is much more to people and their worth than something you need visual hue or something a 23andme test tells you as prompt for.

I'm not sure that the experience of Native Americans and Aborigines will mirror your own, unless of course you view actual mass slaughter and genecide as the same as others moving to a country, and procreation also occuring between whites and non whites. Many millions see that for a small island we're not a home for all, don't have the resources, and vote accordingly (You 'do' need votes if you want change rather than a mope on repeat). You lose people though when people genuinely think that you hold a level of palpable dislike of others based on largely arbitrary factors, because many of them are your countrymen and will remain as such.

No, it won't be the same, but the end result will be.

I can't accept your criticism because it is an accusation that is only aimed at White people.
Many other cultures purposefully maintain their culture and genetic heritage, and this is totally accepted.

This double standard is good for them and bad for the likes of agnostic Northern Europeans.

Tory MP slams 'lefty luvvies' as she pinpoints blame for St. George's Day decline, not more and more people regarding it as the cobblers it is.

They are 'remainers' according to Andrea Jenkyn.

Not that I mind a National Day, but how about Shakespeare at least someone who was English.

Slaying dragons in Libya for the Romans does not somehow seem relevant to England, but then she is a 'leaver' so would not be attached to any reality herself, would she.

Patron Saints seldom came from the countries they represent. Saint Patrick wasn't Irish but he probably wasn't Nigerian either and he's their patron saint too.

Every other country is allowed to have a national day. I remember when St George's day was a holiday (holyday!). And I remember the shops being closed. Then I remember shops being half-day. Then I remember it being nothing. I don't see why England isn't allowed what, for instance, Ireland have. If they want it to be secular have the Battle of Waterloo or Trafalgar day or something. Or armistice day or something if we're so inclined. But have the English flag and be proud of it for a change.

Make it Ash Wednesday then we can fast for month to atone for our crimes against everything.

Brightly, brightly, sun of spring upon this happy day
Shine upon us as we sing this 24th of May
Shine upon our brothers too,
Far across the ocean blue,
As we raise our song of praise
On this our glorious Empire Day”.

I can imagine my grandparents would have chanted along.

Empire Day ended May 24th 1958, probably the Suez realisation.

The flag is cool, there is nothing wrong with the flag, the union jack looks over-complicated to me and I get it upside down.

I don't know why, but I get a mental picture of Shearer and Sheringham when I see the red cross on a white background.

Empire biscuits are still popular in Scotland.

I do not recall St George's day ever being a bank holiday.

Not sure I would want it to be as top many other bank holidays around then.Maybe we can find a new patron saint ideally with a day in July...
