I get the feeling Zaha isn't going anywhere anytime. I also have that feeling, be interesting to see how it all plays out.
Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |

The reality is none of the top top sides can see him adding value at the price wanted. Zaha may not want to go to lesser sides and the lesser sides will not pay what Palace want in transfer fees or Zaha in wages. Net result stalemate and Zaha stays. COYP

A lack of concrete interest tells me that top clubs don't see him as an integral player for them. Yes, they might be interested at a greatly reduced price say £40m, but they aren't going to pay top dollar. For example, Arsenal preferred to pay £72m for Pepe. Zaha should take note, they don't see you as being that good and if you were to move (at a reduced price) then you wouldn't be a regular. Quite frankly, he has caused his own downfall by some very up and down performances.

Maybe Chelsea, but I would say to them, straight swap for Batshuyai and Hudson-Odoi. I reckon that’s good business all round.

But there is no way Chelsea would let a young winger with more potential than Zaha, and who has just signed a 5 year contract, leave to join us. I doubt the player would be happy too especially when he knows Bayern Munich wanted him last year before he signed a new contract at Chelsea.

I think the best we could get from Chelsea is Batsman plus say £10-15million.

The only way i can see a deal done is if we get money plus players. i wonder how manu sell on clause would work if we took a lower fee for zaha plus player on loan with other club still paying his wages with an agreed purchase price at end of loan for instance if it was bats an agreed purchase price of £25 million.

Not sure if this article has already been cited on this thread: A good few on here have suggested that the club were foolish not to take £60m from Everton for Zaha, but their director of football has been quite open about the fact they could never have afforded that, thereby proving the version of the story that says they never made any such bid. So seems the only offer we had was from Arsenal, and that was plainly a joke (£40m or players to the value of about six hundred quid).

I think there is a type of arbitration panel that would decide the price or value of a player and this would then be used in a calculation to work out Manures gold. COYP

Apparently Wilf has accepted he is going nowhere this season.

He’s come to terms nobody is interested. A pity he hasn’t really shown that on the pitch to get other clubs interested.
