Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance. |

Well, if he truly was thinking like that, then he must have found out that destroying them all is impossible, so you need to find your way through, or around them. Communism doesn't work because it denies one of the most important elements of our common humanity. Which is the desire for a better life for our children than for ourselves. It's this desire which lies at the heart of human progress. Suppressing that desire for a share of the common good goes against human instinct. I guess the gay community would make communism work then?

The French Revolutionaries were very keen on the Age of Reason. Their leaders were no doubt discussing logic, evidence and reason while their chums tortured and hacked to death nearly two thousand men, women and children in the September 1792 massacres. Not too much warmth, understanding and respect on show then.

It's obviously rather typical for a humanist and to have no belief in God, so he was describing himself as such. While the haranguing of those outside of pack mentality is common here, I'm not sure that tagging along with that level of conduct for the sake of it is always the best idea. The definition of humanist is fine. The definition of atheist is different. * it's a humanist btw

Roughly speaking, the word humanist has come to mean someone who: trusts to the scientific method when it comes to understanding how the universe works and rejects the idea of the supernatural (and is therefore an atheist or agnostic) makes their ethical decisions based on reason, empathy, and a concern for human beings and other sentient animals from the Humanist UK website I know several actual humanists in the UK and none have the pomposity of self claimed humanists on here

Still spelt with a H however read and pronounced colloquially, completely disregarding the letter’s existence therefore necessitating the preceding ‘An’ “I walked past an ‘ouse today and there was an ‘elicopter flying around above it”
Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |

Humanist. Isn't this just an atheist who is simply saying I don't believe in god but trust me I'm still a nice guy.
