That's 2 posts of yours and 1 of Kermy's I've agreed with recently.

Sadly the same can't be said for Gusset.

You wouldn't agree with me if I said the earth orbits the sun.

And now the bit The Daily Mail doesn't want you to see..

"Jaguar Land Rover's chief executive Dr Ralf Speth has laid out a future vision which could see 10,000 new jobs created in the West Midlands.
He said at an industry event that Britain's largest carmaker by volume would like to double production from 500,000 to one million cars a year.
But it would depend on the government helping to upgrade power supplies and invest in surrounding infrastructure.
The firm would also like a guarantee on access to engineering talent.
A company spokesman said the production target was "very much a want, rather than a will", but declined to commit on precise job numbers."

Your point is...?

It's an 'aspiration' not a 'plan' as reported by The DM. Like everything Brexiteers have come out with since June 24th.

Still, you keep lapping it up like a good boy.

From what I read, JLR asked the government to make some commitments and they, in turn, will make commitments on investment.

This is trade. This is what happens. I fail to see your point, Michael.

Also, please answer my previous questions.

Thank you, Mr property developer.

Second home owners should be hit hard tax wise.

Property development? Capital gains tax has to be paid already I believe. An increase wouldn't hurt.

There isn't any "will" and that's from JLR but just 'could's' and 'perhaps' yet your favourite rag apart from Guido reports it as if it were definite and a future Brexit success story.

I make it that they and you are desperate for any good news even if that good news is, as it stands, hollow.

Remainers are equally guilty when it comes to their 'predictions'(guesswork) regarding our long-term economic future.

I don't agree that I need to pay extra tax on my second home. If people work hard and are successful, why should they pay more, we are already paying more than most.
I would suggest people at the lower end of the scale, look at working harder, rather than expect other people to give it to them.
