Total replacement would imply not a single gene remaining from an existing population.
Even Neanderthals left a trace of genes. Celts were pushed out to the margins like Wales and Cornwall. The original Britons were all but replaced by the Beaker People. 90% replacement of the gene pool according to current estimates.

Now this begs the question. How much replacement of our gene pool would you like before you call it replacement?

It already stands at 25% replaced in around 70 years.

Do you seriously believe that this trend won't continue and accelerate?

If you believe that, then you would believe anything.

What I believe is that this is a complete irrelevance. Genes don't talk or establish a culture. They merely affect appearance.

Environments, education and upbringing establish culture. Those who live among us, become like us.

The last paragraph unfortunately applies to an increasing number of politicians. It's as though they're drunkenly tweeting provocative messages.

It is, however, a very strategic decision and will continue to ramp up over the coming months - the Tories know they don't have any hope of winning an election running on policy and their track record, so the only way they gain support is by inventing and stoking these weird culture war talking points and hope they pick up enough votes that way.

And it works... a huge percentage of people in this country are considerably more concerned with Kier Starmer's answer to "what is a woman?" than they are with our failing public services and declining living standards.

An excellent example of manipulation of the electorate. Mind you, it's not a difficult task with most of them

So you are obviously into RnB and rap. ? How many corner shops were open on a Sunday before the Asians took a lot of them ? Ever seen a White person working in a curry house or Chinese Take-away ?

Actually, without being totally objectionable, there is a mixture in practice. Lots of cities have enclaves of immigrants, quite substantial in some of them. Some immigrants do integrate, but more often they tend to group together as a separate sub-group

So now you are beginning to see the reality, but it doesn't matter as long as all those Asians, Africans and Poles like fish and chips.

Well, I am not so keen to see our gene pool erased. I think it's an insult to those who worked and fought for this country over thousands of years, especially since a number of those foes were very keen on wiping out entire races.
Obviously that is OK with you when you do it without guns and gas chambers so no one notices.

Let's be like Wisbech and adopt a nothing matters fatalistic, nihilistic attitude to everything.

Environment does play a role, along with a common language, similar race, religion (spiritual and secular) and a shared history.

People do not magically acquire these things - they might over many hundreds of years.

They can be like Biden who still thinks he's Irish after his family have been in America for 170 years.

That's basically half of America. A lot of it is wiping of an actual Eastern/Central European past. I haven't looked into Biden properly - it could be lies, it could be true. Obama was the funniest one. I believe Trump's family was originally Eastern/ Central European but haven't looked into it. He didn't claim to be Irish.
I live in a tourist place in Ireland and meet the fake Irish in the pub. No one is impressed. The funniest is the 'f*** off' when people ask barmen for Irish coffee. I'm known as 'The Tan' - we're totally politically correct.

How many can't find some Irish in their background?

Well, a large proportion of the 51% female part of the population probably spend more time in Ladies toilets and changing rooms than they do on public transport or in hospital...

Not only is this a complete non sequitur, it's also almost certainly untrue.

Just for my own musing, do you consider the below statement to be certainly true?

"a huge percentage of people in this country are considerably more concerned with Kier Starmer's answer to "what is a woman?" than they are with our failing public services and declining living standards."

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!
