Do you think that if you say it enough times, people will believe it? What does it actually mean?

There is and never has been any truth in politics, that's not how it works. Anyone with a mental age of more than eight knows this and knows why.

It's all starting to sound very Orwellian.

The only truth is your truth eh comrade.

Peddle. You pedal a bicycle.

How will you reduce migration, given that trade deals will probably hinge on it.

You voted to leave the EU so welfare payments can be reduced. Are you referring to the immigrants that simultaneously cream off benefits whilst taking our jobs?
How much will we save by leaving the EU. Will it be more than we've lost with the pound tanking everywhere. Will it be more than the projected years of misery ahead as forecast by more than one independent source?

Don't get me wrong, I want brexit to work, I don't think anyone wants it to go tits up to say told you so. But I haven't seen anything positive about it yet.

I do feel a bit sorry for those still debating the why we should leave or remain after the well after referendum. If you are still asking the question "why are we leaving", I'd suggest you didn't pay attention to the other side of the argument at the time. I suggest you check out the myriad online resources that were available to you before the referendum.

As for the "trade deals" hinging on migration: can I ask where the freedom of movement clause is in the Canada-EU CETA agreement? How much do Canada pay to access the single market (99% tariff free for non-agricultural trade, 92% tariff free for agricultural trade)?

Canada is the EU's 10th most important market. I believe the UK will be the EU's most important market.

Very good. You clearly haven't made it to eight just yet.

Do youthink UKIP should have (in breach of rules)) misspent £400k of EU funds "informing" the public during the referendum?

No, not if that was in breach of the rules. I'm not a hypocrite, see?

What I don't like, however, is selective prosecution based purely on political ideology. That sounds a little dangerous to me. I'm sure their defence will hold up really well on Monday, and there will be absolutely no bias in those making the ruling.

Meanwhile, I'm sure the extra £9m we paid for a pro-EU propaganda leaflet delivered to each and every household was not "misspent". In fact, I guarantee it,

The rules are only applicable when convenient.

If they added the word 'brexit' to the dictionary regardless of political ideas we will recognise it in the future.

But post-truth is another nonsense word - to think it will be in respected dictionaries.

IMO its supposed to mean where emotion overcomes reason or so I read - so for example Trump is emotion and Clinton is reason. Who decides this?

Post something simply means after it has happened.

As for the truth well thats 'rarely pure and never simple' - and my take is something we may or not ever find out? Whoops thats Brexit......

Seriously, you must be bereft of coherent argument if you are now stooping to correct typo/grammatical errors.

Well said that man.

That's 2 posts of yours and 1 of Kermy's I've agreed with recently.

Sadly the same can't be said for Gusset.

Moaners will not change Brexit stance I am afraid.
After watching "Moanahan" on his program smirking and moaning about Brexit I am convinced that he and others live in another world. Those people wanting a new referendum will never get their way despite the multi-millionaires bankrolling the opposition to Brexit. When Theresa May pushes the button perhaps the "ins" will realise how futile their moaning and groaning has been. I suggest they just get on with excepting that they lost the vote and the government will get the best deal that can be had in our favour. We must all understand that we are the first to leave the terrible organisation that is the EU but doubt we will be the last. The world is watching us and most are simply looking forward to working and trading with us and investing as they always have done.

Supported Palace for over 69 years since the age of 7 and have seen all the ups and downs and will probably see many more ups and downs before I go up to the big football club in the sky.

There's not a single fact in his quotes, nor a source. You are possibly the only person on here that would find that to be acceptable evidence in a counter argument.

And as I said, Spain is the only possible example in the entire EU.

They could find new markets like we are going to do according to Brexiteers but that isn't going to be good news to the UK businesses that trade with them now as EU partners in the short term.

Still, it's only British jobs we are talking about and mostly jobs that will be on the lower end pay scale wise.

Or we could create new jobs:

I assume you will feel the same if they manage to force through another referendum and get the result they want, so only remainers will pay the 350m a week to be EU members?

Just to clarify, I didn't vote to leave, but I find all this "well I didn't vote for it so I shouldn't have to pay" stuff laughable. I assume you would also back the hard right's pleas to not pay anything towards the support of immigrants, for instance?

Take your point I am feeling the 'tyranny of brexit'

I would just never trigger Article 50 anyway.

And now the bit The Daily Mail doesn't want you to see..

"Jaguar Land Rover's chief executive Dr Ralf Speth has laid out a future vision which could see 10,000 new jobs created in the West Midlands.
He said at an industry event that Britain's largest carmaker by volume would like to double production from 500,000 to one million cars a year.
But it would depend on the government helping to upgrade power supplies and invest in surrounding infrastructure.
The firm would also like a guarantee on access to engineering talent.
A company spokesman said the production target was "very much a want, rather than a will", but declined to commit on precise job numbers."
