Can't believe how much the politics section has descenced into the right wing conspiracy theory realms. It's been pretty scary reading over the past year or so.
What I would like to add, is that anyone who still belives Trump's legal woes are somehow politaiclly motivated and/or trumped up, are living in cloud cuckoo land. It's absolute lunacy and extremely dangerous to just ignore the evidence and carry on pushing aa completely alternative and warped version of reality with the aim of advancing political gain. The Orange idiot himself has done the prosecutions work for them by admitting that he took the documents because he was allowed to and did the same pretty much with the "Sure it was my decision" comment which ultimately will be used against him to prove that he was trying to defraud the American public with the stolen election lies.All on live TV! This all before going on the stand to be crossed examained about the above and the Jan 6th insurection case. The bloke is a known crook and how he is even close to getting control of the levers of power again is absolutely petrifying.
But to come on here to try to underplay his actual involement and dismiss the court cases as nothing more than Democrat "Lawfare" whilst spreading other right wing conspiracy BS of the type is just crazy.

Biden won fair and square. You can keep pushing your conspiracy theories of the type that you like to post(Almost 100% of you output is CS based and most is absolutely batsh!t crazy). But they have investigated any potential ballot fraud and the only evidence that they found was actually on the GOP side of things. So again, keep pushing your alternative warped verson of reality, but for the majority of the worlds population, thankfully it is all a load of crazy nonsense.

And if you think that is all Trump said on the day, then you really are a bit simple. There will be evidence including phone calls and eye witnesses, all to give an account of what was actually said on the day, and in the weeks leading up to Jan 6, which will be more than enough to sink the treacherous lying mobster rule, dictator worshopping scumbag. He's going down, so conspiracy theorist/white supremecist/Dictator bootlicker(Delete as applicable) will need to find a new leader. May I recommend DeSantis?

Strange isn’t it that here the “working class” formed the Labour Party to represent them and democratically challenge the privileged, adopting socialist principles to do so.

Yet in the mixed up USA they turn to the insular, selfish and half crazy Trump as their saviour. Someone who is as far from them as it is possible to be.

For me this only confirms just how broken US politics has become. Their value judgements are not based on realities but on tribal prejudices. I first realised this when I was regularly in the company of Americans during Obama’s presidency. Their attitude to him was openly racist and didn’t match anything we thought in the UK. It was shocking to hear.

The same gulf remains. Trump’s approval rating in the UK is overwhelmingly negative, way down in the low teens. Yet in the USA what seemed to us to be unforgivable, undemocratic behaviour is brushed aside.

These are strange days.

It really doesn't have to be one size fits all. I can recognise and call out a scumbag and a villian without it effecting my political stance. This footballfication of politics that has come about during this wave of populism that has reaplaced realpolitik(temporarily I hope)is all rather bizare and idiotic in my mind. You've fallen foul of this by trying to guess my politics because it has become rather easy to guage where people are on the political spectrum by following their views and joining the dots. Not in this instance though. If the scales haven't fallen from your eyes yet in regards to Trump and his intentions and also his illegal way of trying to get things done, then I really don't know what else he could do from here to finally get you to wake up. His insistance that he could shoot someone on 5th avenue and get away wih it and his liking for stupid people do spring to mind though.
