And deliberately spreading the virus among them would prove he cares? Oh dear Let me repeat. He doesn’t care about old people unless he wants to use them for something. He literally doesn’t care. Why would he bother interacting with them at all?

Boris could make this all go away if he put his foot down and published the grooming gang report in full.....without it going through an appointed filter.

He’s said he’s trying to open the pubs next month. That’ll distract everyone until he can find his car keys to rattle.

I didn't watch Newsnight last night but have read the report. The BBC has, as is usual, been forthright in their examination of their editorial standards and offered an apology if they see any transgressions. So well done to them. No-one is perfect. Contrast that with the government's performance over the Cummings situation. No apology for what he did. Just an attempt to re-interpret the rules on his behalf and express regret that the media have upset people. Having read what was actually broadcast I have to say I agree 100% with the analysis and so, it seems, do the BBC. Their criticism is about the way the piece was introduced and not what was said. You are once again totally and utterly missing the point of why this is so important. It has zilch to do with Cummings himself and all to do with our ability to fight the virus. Until you understand that there is little point in discussing this with you or anyone else trying to defend Cummings. He isn't the point. So it is Cummins then. All along you said it was because the scenario of a government worker maybe breaking the lockdown. You are always rattling on about not isolating individuals but looking at the case. Now it's all about Cummins. Truth always prevails in the end. Bye.

If someone had been hounding you outside your house every day, wouldn’t you want piss them off if you had the chance?
