Well I have been expecting a quote from P Diddy or a trusted second in command within his organisation to come out a rubbish this claim since the story broke. The good news (from a dreamers point of view) is it still has not been denied and if anything the story is gathering pace.
The bad news is that he may have no intention of making a bid but has decided to remain tight lipped because the growing speculation is giving him and CPFC some massive exposure and publicity throughout the world right now. This is unfortunately the most likely scenario.
As far as Winston Mckenzie being the same consortium as P Diddy all I can say is he wont be for much longer once the financial muscle learns of his mouthing off about how much the consortium have to spend. I would also strongly doubt Mckenzie has the sort of connections that would link him to one of the most successful hip hop artists on the planet.

Would hardy call an article in the bizarre section of the Sun massive exposure so it could have legs

You are missing the bigger picture. Since this story broke in the sun it has reverberated all around the world. Posters on this very site that reside in Germany, Australia, USA, etc have confirmed its one of the first times ever that CPFC has made their national news. It has set tongues wagging, no doubt

That article is bollocks. it looks like it was produced by someone who hasn't been to an english league match since the seventies.

I would say it was written by someone who has a dislike of the English because (as some Americans are) he/she is jealous of our history and tradition of which they have none and would love to have a fraction of what we have.Either that or they are of bitter Irish decent, there's a few in the states that still have a problem with the English. Before anyone comes out with any pathetic racist accusations I will point out that I personally have no problem with the Irish but the dislike that some Irish Americans have for the English is undisputed fact. Especially in New York.
I would also doubt judging by some of the comments that the author of that article has ever even been to England.
In any event it hardly matters what the motives for such spite are, IF P Diddy were to take an interest in Palace or any other English club I strongly doubt he would pay any attention whatsoever to the rantings of some biggot with a type writer

Writing for a student newspaper means several things:

1) You think your opinions are very important.
2) Your opinions are actually worthless.
3) You have plenty of practice when it comes to churning out cr*p.
4) You are a self-serving w*nker.

Leave him to blog about celebrities in the land of the fat, the crass, and the idiotic. Maybe one day he will find the respect there that he so dearly craves and failed to find over here. I doubt it, though.

This Ravi person is a two faced bigot of the worst kind – how he is allowed to write his dribble is a reflection of the poor sensationist journalism of t***ster.com . If I were to enlighten him, which I cannot be arsed, I’d mention the following as to why a successful black man might be interested in our club:
Firstly, most worshipped by the fans in recent history have mainly be black men - Ian Wright, John Salako, Andy Gray, Clinton Morrison, Nathaniel Clyne, Victor Moses, etc, etc come to mind.
Secondly, we have probably the most ethnic varied catchment area that any club could boast of - our academy is proof of this.
And thirdly,yes, there is racism in football as there is in society at large and though I don’t want to be dragged into a comparison with our cousins in the US of A, our record is as good as theirs on the multi-cultural front if not better. The guy is a misinformed jerk.
