That's sad, but looking at this conversation, I don't think trying to fend off five or six people at the same time is going to fix that. Though as you say better to look inward than to develop an aversion to others.

Maybe you're the person who messaged Dan saying that you intended to leave the site? Whether you make good points or poor ones, it's still a numbers game so the group dynamic becomes the gatekeeper of what is correct or fair.

Your achievements are you own and your character is your own. You don't need everyone to hold a certain racial view for that to be the case. It's not a realistic expectation. You seem to be seeking understanding and acceptance where you are least likely to receive it. Most people don't really treat race as a constant topic that they let off steam about though. Gravitate towards them instead. You'll have a better time of it.

Hold on there is no need to feel sad on my account I didn't actually say how I view myself and it certainly wasn't in a negative way.

I have no idea who Dan is apart from what he posts on this board so no it wasn't me.

I'm not really seeking any sort of understanding or acceptance in reality I find this board quite amusing in a lot of ways and in no way did I think I was fending off anybody.

Ah right. I had incorrectly assumed it as result of seeing 5 or 6 pages of one person on their tod, with Dan on the sidelines! If you're able to take discussions like this as amusing, then that is certainly a commendable approach.

Well if it was the the presenter who was sacked, assuming that is what you mean,I would suppose it would be because the radio station was blatantly stupid or worse.

Let me just ask.i wasnt asking about me specifically. Can you in the noun meaning a person be a little bit racist or is it all or nothing.
That is were I'm confused, being white I'm actually quite afraid of what I can and cant ask, let alone state. I have no hidden agenda for a green light I am just totally confused. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder so to speak. Transfer that to bame and I hope you get what I'm asking.
