30 Million for players , PLUS a striker thats when fit and loved is just as good as Benteke

I have read that the supposed deal is Berahino plus £16m for Benteke.

Me too. Hopefully could go as high as £20m? But for that we lose in Benteke another 8or 10 goals. This should be dowble IF Remy stays fit

That's a big "if" and far too big a risk for a relatively cautious man like Steve Parish to take

The team are low on confidence, but if Allardyce can address that then I have no doubt Bentenke will be great for us. Let's face it, he's scored nearly a goal every other game without even looking at his best. Unless we get double what we paid for him from China then I wouldn't even be considering it.

Berahino is a risk and given the fuss he made at WBA you wonder if his heart would be in a move to a club at the same level (or perhaps even lower)

If we can get Berahino without losing Benteke then great. Berahino can play either off Benteke in a 2, or wide.

But if it means losing Benteke then it should be an absolute no.

Looks like Benteke is staying, so no Berahino

Every transfer window West Brom wheel Berahino out into the shop window and nobody is interested... I personally wouldn't pay more than £5 million for him...

He's done very little, in fact he's hardly played over the last 2 years to suggest he's worth anything near what West Brom are demanding.

Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!!

It's difficult because since he kicked all his toys out of the pram he never has lived up to the prior promise. But he clearly has talent - he just needs to accept the reality of the situation and find the right outlet for it.

Like I said, in a straight choice between Benteke and Berahino, anyone and everyone should stick with what we've got. But if there is a viable affordable option to have both then that is something to look at.

100% agree he's not worth anywhere near what he was two seasons ago I mean look at Jamie vardy would arsenal pay £30 million plus for him going off this seasons form ? Hell no !!

Contract runs out in 6 months, WBA will be lucky to get much more tha £5 mill I reckon

His penalty taking appears to be worse than Benteke (according to wiki)

the dignified don't even enter in the game

This lad has all the talent in the world, but everything I read about him rings alarm bells!
People question Benteke's work rate but at least he doesn't throw his toys out of the pram every time something doesn't go his way
I would avoid Berahino like the plague- seems too disruptive and like he has some serious issues to me
