Totally non plussed by this. Can't see why we are scraping around in the free transfer bargain basement when we are supposed to be establishing ourselves as a premier league regular. And if rumoured wages are correct, not worth the money

Newcastles problems are not upfront they score enough it's the other end they should be looking at conceded 41 so far. Remy is a fine player so is adebayor both proven scorers. I'm happy with the fact we haven't spent £10-15m this window there was need to panic buy, not in our position .We are no Newcastle.Very pleased he's signed. Cannot wait for Arsenal away.

Fantastic move. Don't understand those who bang on about Remy and call into question Adebayor's character. Remy's past is at least as dubious as Adebayor's and possibly even more so. Beyond that, Adebayor comes with a point to prove. On Saturday's evidence, Remy looks like an uninterested shadow of his former self, totally out of love with football. Bring in Eminike (or another quality forward) and this will be a window for the ages. how can you say Remy is passed it?? currently on the books of the league champions, only 29..

Well I didn't even think they sang at the Emirates to many cucumber sandwiches to be had dear chap. Rather brutish that chanting malarkey.

My only reservation is fitness.....just do not see the point of signing him if it takes a month for any kind of fitness.
