Still torn on my vote. Do I think of the country as a whole and go with the Tories who in my opinion have done a pretty decent job in trying to clear up the mess Labour left?

Or do I vote for purely selfish reasons and go with someone else seeing as the Tories have totally ripped the heart out of the British Police Service and have now ripped up my contract meaning I have to work an extra 9 years on top, pay more into my pension, get less out, lose about 60k of my lump sum and wait an extra 9 years for my pension???

Tough one.

7 years ago everyone was blaming the money men, aggressive capitalism and bankers for "the mess" which was pretty much worldwide. Not sure how Labour can be held accountable for what initially started in the US.

We can blame Reaganomics and Thatcherism though. Deregulation.

Translation: we shouldn't be stupid and populist and blame something which is actually very complex but we pretend is simple.

Let's be stupid and populist and blame something which is actually very complex but we pretend is simple.

I need a translation of your translation

Blaming bankers for 'the mess' - populist and simplistic.

Blaming Reaganomics and Thatcherism - populist and simplistic.

Blaming the main political proponents of big time financial-sector deregulation:populist and simplistic, perhaps;but not wrong!

Discredited wally alert

Your tabs are working well tonight!

As Healey once put it about Geoffrey Howe,"like being savaged by a dead sheep"

Careful, son. Some of us were turning Millwall and Brighton over while you were still in nappies.

Pathetic.Did you take an overdose of the tabs?

Threaten to beat someone up because you have a pop at them on a Palace fan site and they dare to answer back?

I would say "grow up",trouble is you're already an Old Fella.

Not threatening anybody, for avoidance of doubt. Just not a "dead sheep". You are a real t*sser, Legal, imho. Full of self serving nonsense and your own importance. Go forth, and multiply

Thank God you are too old to multiply further. You're enough of a multiplier already. And do try to get a sense of irony, not to mention humour

Wow Legal, that was very brave of you.. dont want to upset OldFella again and sh*t yourself like before.
Typical wimpy lefty, all very brave behind your keyboard.
Got to shoot now mate, got to see how the mighty Green party are getting on tonight.. lmfho

Looks like the Tories are going to do well according to exit poles.

I shall be delighted if that is the case. And the UKIP vote looking strong as well. Bye Bye Ed

Unbelievably depressing. Even as someone who didn't vote, I can appreciate how terrible a Tory/UKIP/DUP coalition would be.

I might have to take up smoking again.

That's what I did mate.

On a side note, really f*cking depressing that even BBC political journos don't understand what our constitution says about coalition. The biggest party is immaterial, so when Nick 'Tory boy' Robinson claims the public won't accept anything other than a Tory-led government he's a total idiot. If they can't form a government (which they probably will) then Cameron can't enter No.10.

This is superb viewing. Loud lefties being outdone by the pencil and paper. Could even be a majority. Watching nickgusset et al simultaneously combust will be hilarious.

The people have spoken.
A conservative majority in the making.
Labour utterly useless again.
What a great night!
Bye bye Labour ..... And your bankrupt policies.

Watching the results on BBC World, I'm amazed by the total collapse of Labour in Scotland and the Lib Dems throughout the country. If Farage does lose as is being predicted, maybe he'll have more time to spend at Selhurst.

Highlight of the night so far, Labour supporters in Thurrock going mental after getting a few thousand more votes than UKIP, followed by the news that the Conservatives got 500 more votes than Labour.
