I saw a clip of "Joe Biden" yesterday and his mask was starting to peel away around his chin. Perhaps that was done purposefully to synchronise with the general deterioration of his mind and the rest of his body? I am continually under the impression the puppet masters in the US were a bit over-exuberant in their goal to arrange for some dummy to front the operation and have ended up with a brain dead corpse wasting away up there. I still find it astonishing but also very telling that a country, for all my criticism of it, which has continually produced some of the best of everything in the world, has an individual as it’s sole representative who’s about as compos mentis and lucid in his appearances as a toddler that has accidentally consumed a couple litres of whiskey. It’s bonkers.
Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |

Trumps lawyer, Ms Sidney Powell remember her she of the outrageous statements, has committed volte face and is now a 'Trump turncoat'. Her 'deal' includes 6 years probation, so she stays out of jail. And she is required to testify for the prosecution against Trumptons. Her revenge is likely to be quite a performance.
Joined today by a second lawyer, Kenneth Chesebro. The dominos are falling. Their deals require them to testify against the other defendants, including Trump. Powell was responsible for trying to interfere with the voting machines. Chesebro the primary link between Trump and the legal team. Both must hold very pertinent evidence which has the capacity to incriminate all of the others who will now be tempted to avoid jail and do deals themselves. Trump could soon be alone. Make him stronger? With most of his base, yes. They will never turn from him. Not though with those Republicans who still believe in the rule of law or with the independents. It becomes much harder to sustain the idea of a political witch hunt if your co defendants have admitted their guilt.

It is and it’s another indication of why the US system is no longer fit for purpose. If someone can escape justice simply because one individual is indoctrinated then the system needs throwing out. Mind you the case in New York on the under valuation of assets is being determined by a Judge, not a Jury and the case of election interference in Georgia is beginning to look almost impossible to refute and the jury pool there less likely to contain a willing hold out. However, even if he survives only through the obvious obstruction of hold outs he would still be found guilty in the court of public opinion. So long as he is opposed by a better person, of whom there are many, he would lose. Hopefully!

Kennedy would take more votes from Trump than any Democratic candidate, in my opinion. Gavin Newsom looks to be the ultimate Democratic choice to me. He would beat Trump.

It's not that complicated on the economy for the person on the street. If inflation for what you commonly buy and pay for is higher than than your wage rises then you become poorer. The truth is that only the asset and property owning classes have become richer these last thirty years. The reality is that inflation has been out growing your wages for a generation and many times before that. That's why your grandfather could run his family and pay his rent on one good wage but today you need good money from two workers just to live like he did. The politicians are a combination of negligence and the reality that their top concerns are pleasing capital and their donors....the plebs are only fit for lies. As has been spoken about many times the disconnect between lifestyle and the place you come from...the 'citizen of nowhere' mentality amongst the elites and middle class has been very damaging for the working classes. If it hadn't been for technology, bread and circuses this system would have fallen long ago.....and boomers of course....as it's the boomers and their myths they believe in that keep this can still on the road....even though it runs out for their children. Very noticeable that there is no groundswell for Harris to take over. She must be really bad if she can't be seen as viable alternative to senile Joe. My personal conspiracy theory (no way has anyone else thought of it) is that Biden fought the fight as the only way to get a woman of colour into the chair. Perhaps the poor old fellow actually went in for himself? Or, as you say, they worked on a suck-it-and-see basis and Americans have decided they do not like her taste.

I often listen to the BBC “Americast” podcast which covers US politics in a way which is both interesting and easy to listen to. This week’s episode features an interview with Cassidy Hutchinson, who worked in the Trump White House and testified to the House committee about the Jan 6th events and has written a book about her time with Trump. It’s both fascinating and confirmed many of my own impressions:-

Electing Biden has been a disaster. His stupid commentary on important leaders (which many shortsighted cheered on) means that he has little to no traction with them and they refuse to see him. His administration have single handedly destroyed America's soft power. 'Everything he said would happen under Trump has come true or is about to come true under Biden. There’s no bigger blood thirsty homicidal warmongering maniac than Joe Biden. He’s pushing for WW3 & WW4 while bankrupting & hollowing out America at the same time. How people still can’t see the game being played on them by the Oligarchs is mind boggling' (Jimmy Dore) [Tweet Link]

More evidence of Democratic bias within enforcement institutions in how they reacted to how a Democratic Congressman's illegal actions and then lies in relation to pulling a fire alarm to delay a vote in the house. 'He is on video intentionally walking up to those doors, grabbed the signs warning about alarms sounding, turned, pulled the alarm, and walked away. His excuse is the exact opposite of what the video showed. He is clearly lying, and the AG is just letting him slide. This is just another example of the absolute lack of any accountability for anyone who has a "D" next to their name'.
