Biden is a physically weak and mentally frail old man who should only be in charge of eating his own meals.

Nothing wrong with getting old but meritocratic systems need the very best and brightest people heading them. Unfortunately, in the US, the political class of boomers refuse to move on and they take advantage of a system that thought common sense and national interest prevails.

This is a problem for both the Democrats and the Republicans and both parties mostly care about lining their own pockets before helping their nation.

Another problem with having a physically weak man in charge of powerful systems is that they over-react because of that weakness....they know how they are perceived and want to prove a point rather than be rational.

The easily scared private will shoot the gun long before the experienced soldier sees the whites of their eyes......Similarly the weak man with access to power will use it as soon as they feel threatened much more than the powerful man who knows the consequences of that power.

The problem is that result doesn't care about mentalities in the same way a game of chess doesn't care about egos.

Putting Biden in charge was a disaster for the world.

It's a joke to think that the same people who use to wet themselves over Trump's mean tweets and exclaim how he was going to cause WW3 now stay silent when Biden mumbles and misspeaks and literally funds and continues fifty fifty wars which divide the world and could end humanity.

You give him far too much credit. If those around him are of him then I see your point. However, while a frothing twit, Trump's ludicrous bombast was almost wholly neutralized in actual effect by the vast body of people who serve him. Likewise, I suspect, Young Mr. Grace.

If that is so, you say, what is the point of it all? In fact, what is the point of continuing this thread which, I note with some surprise, I started.

That's definitely true, the GOP administration under Trump worked just as much against him as for him and that's definitely also the case right now with Biden.

However, I think it's important to recognise the massive power of their position. They might be able to frustrate policies they don't like but they can't change them.

For example, it's clear as day that pretty much the majority of the Democrats want Biden to step down because they don't think he beats Trump....But you also have to convince Harris and probably all his team that their once in a lifetime spot in the sun has to come to an end. So those in possession can always say, I'm staying until voted out....So it's a power struggle.

There is also the aspect of the Deep State being so obvious to everybody that it's become almost expected. When people within the administration deliberately frustrate and plot against its leadership they are obviously doing the opposite of what they are employed to do.....in fact there is a good case for stating that not only is it undemocratic but it's criminal.

It's a dysfunctional system leading the world.

The point is that the system should not be throwing up these choices....money and group and lobby interest has long corrupted and we have been disfigured away from meritocracy working to give us the brightest and most able.

What is the point? Of complaining you mean? Well, that's always a fair question....but this is just expression, the detailing of thoughts while we temporarily wander this realm.

Very noticeable that there is no groundswell for Harris to take over. She must be really bad if she can't be seen as viable alternative to senile Joe.

Trumps lawyer, Ms Sidney Powell remember her she of the outrageous statements, has committed volte face and is now a 'Trump turncoat'.

Her 'deal' includes 6 years probation, so she stays out of jail.

And she is required to testify for the prosecution against Trumptons.

Her revenge is likely to be quite a performance.

Biden wanted Cornpop but he had to settle for Harris.

Worse than criminal, Stirl, it's treasonous.
And there's quite a hefty punishment for that.

That's the thing.

Before the Biden administration it wasn't the done thing to go after people legally....but as you see with Trump and Steely's post the new left are all about that....it is always going to be counter productive and you don't need to be a rocket scientist to understand why.

I think that when Trump gets in they are going to find out what that feels like themselves.

They know it and it's one of the reasons they are in a panic.

They will try just about everything again....from ballot harvesting, mail voting to media blackouts of anything detrimental to the Democrats....we even had the FBI and social media election interference last time as Musk has shown.

But like Clinton use to say, 'it's the economy stupid'.....and they have certainly been pretty stupid.

I saw a clip of "Joe Biden" yesterday and his mask was starting to peel away around his chin.
It looked like his chin was melting.
