Bats please And RLC. His career blossomed with us. If they both came that would be exiting. How about straight swap for those two an Giroud? Problem is that we gotta give manure a percentage of the transfer fee so there will have to be a cash deal and then chelsea let us buy these players at a low ? price. COYP

They'd take our most influential player & fob us off with someone of their choosing who's also a massive wage earner. Hoping we tell all interested parties we're only interested in full asking price or, part cash & players of OUR choosing. Had this with Everton offering small change & Tosun who they won't play & don't even want to play for us. Trouble is Zaha is worse than he was last season. By quite a bit.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'The Wilfried Zaha Thread' by Midlands Eagle To work out what will happen, we need to think only like US private equity investors who've decided they made a bad investment. Sell Zaha, replace with Bolasie. £45m share of special dividend. Sell their stake in the club, recouping what they paid. ROI targets achieved.

Sell their stake in the club, recouping what they paid. ROI targets achieved. I'm not sure that will work. Firstly if we sell Zaha for £60m we will only net £45m as the £15m will have to be paid to Manchester United and there will also be greedy b****** fees to be paid out of the net figure. Secondly dividends can only be paid out of profits after tax and have to be paid pro rata to the shareholdings. Finally the Americans can only sell their shares to willing buyers and I can't see anyone wanting to cough up that amount of money for a minority shareholding in a football club run by Mr P

Chelsea wont be putting a bid in for Zaha and I don't believe they have ever shown any interest in him. I realised this months ago when Lampard with a bit of nous came in and Hudson Odoi showed what he has. Plus Zaha’s been lower than average at best. I heard they’re after the Salzburg winger now anyway. Zaha is a bit silly and naive giving people with little skill a leg up with the effect of it damaging his career. Still, he’ll retire rich but unfortunately not be producing like a £130k per week player for Palace.

If they did then by now based on an ROI of say 20% the club would be theirs and that’s not what I’m hearing. But one thing is for sure, they have been lousy investors and the sooner they’re gone the better. W**kers. Greedy no Gooders.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'The Wilfried Zaha Thread' by Midlands Eagle No...they didn't cone in as vultures, but they are flexible private equity investors who've apparently concluded the basis of their investment isn't actually working. They won't mind flipping an asset. I just don't think their development ideas/expectations for the club have panned out. I'm not saying my scenario is exactly what will happen. If money/assets are removed from the club, then the prospective buyer won't be blind to that. What I am saying, though, is that to think about our transfer strategy, we need to think first about what they'll want. This is why a lot of transfer talk may prove optimistic.
