Why have they not corrected misinformation produced this week? You have bias too and I'm sure you perceived them in your own way Untrue. If the economy thrived under Trump I acknowledged it, whilst pointing out that much of it was due to policies introduced by Obama. I haven’t praised Biden for the economic recovery. I have challenged the incorrect assertion that the US is in a bad way. In fact the huge stimulus package introduced by the Biden administration very soon after he took office will probably be later seen to have been responsible but also carry long term debt forward which will have significant negative effects. My criticism of Trump is mainly about his character being so totally unfit for high office. I would not want him to be leading the western world in this crisis. He would believe he alone knows all the answers. Biden listens to the advice of genuine experts in every field. I think I might be stockpiling food and water if Trump was still the POTUS.

My dislike of Trump isn’t based on bias. It’s based on observations that date back at least 10 years. He cannot be trusted and is unfit to run a tap, let alone lead the west. I don’t hate him. It’s not his fault he has the personality he has. I hate a system that enables someone like him to get into the White House. The US system is no longer fit for purpose if it cannot screen out people like Trump. Trump must be sick in some way. No well man behaves as he does. And before you start banging on about Biden I am not a particular fan of his either. He is just a lot more trustworthy than Trump, but he ought not be standing again and but for Trump would probably have not in 2020. We need a new face. Inspirational, charismatic and a leader who can heal. Not from either extreme, so everyone can find a piece they admire.

Why? We had 4 years of peace under trump. Had nothing to do with him did it? Putin waited in case Trump just handed him the keys to Kiev and withdrew from NATO. Hamas attacked Israel when Netanyahu was busy being complacent and trying to protect his own position internally. That could have happened anytime. The thought of Trump handling a crisis makes my buttocks cringe. He cannot handle an argument in his own cabinet without sacking those involved.

So everyone else is incurably biased but your prejudices are based on irrefutable evidence. Fair enough.

There must be many better choices available on both sides of the political divide in the USA. It’s only when he is compared to Trump that his star shines. Trump is by far the worst US President of my lifetime and of any I have knowledge about. That’s not prejudice. It’s knowledge and experience.

From the moment he started to become publicly visible I followed his actions, and of those promoting him. I observed his character and how he operated in ways that resembled a mobster and was then appalled to learn he had political ambitions which others thought him suited to. It is the possibility that someone like him can attain the Presidency that is so ridiculous in a country as powerful as the USA and shows their political system to be in desperate need of reform. Unlike Trump, Biden listens and delegates to experts. He is no public speaker but he has experience of the system and how to make it work. He was always a stop gap between Trump and the next generation. Yes we didn’t see wars during Trump’s 4 years and we are during Biden’s. Is there a connection? Not in my opinion. We saw Covid during Trump’s. Was that his fault? Did the Chinese release it to spike him? ( I am not being serious). I got no speeding tickets during Trump’s term but have 2 during Biden’s. Was that his fault too?
