The CBI receives around £150,000 per year from the European Commission especially for them to produce surveys of business opinion. Do you think for the sake of a measly 0.6% of annual income they would purposely choose to engage in misrepresentation? Of course you do. 21% Do you think they should have been in receipt of EU funds whilst they were "informing" the public during the referendum? Of course you do.

Yet when there is bad news it is ALL Brexit's fault. Makes very little sense. The fact is that our economy has not gone through any fundamental change yet, and won't for a while. We still have decent job growth, investor confidence and consumer confidence, problem is that this is being funded by startling levels of state debt that has been built up by both Labour and Conservatives. It seems you didn't get the memo. Attachment: IMG_20160901_112631.jpg (80.89Kb)

You are both spreading misinformation. Desperate times?
"The CBI conducts a number of monthly and quarterly economic surveys of businesses, on manufacturing, retail, and service sectors, which are an important bellwether of UK business and economic trends. These surveys are used by the European Commission to enable it to collect robust European-wide economic data, as it does from all the 28 EU member states. As part of this, the CBI takes part in a competitive tendering process (every 4 years) to provide data on the UK economy on a regular basis, and as a result the European Commission currently contributes to some of the financing of these economic surveys. This amounts to around £148,000 per year, representing around 0.6% of our annual income. It is a measure of the reliability of our data that we are able to do this, and any money received in this way is ring-fenced for this purpose."

What about Deloitte who constructed the 'leaked memo' feeding anti Brexit propaganda to the Times? How many millions have they trousered from the EU? The pro EU Times happy to publish EU propaganda as fact which the BBC follow up on with glee. More examples of corporate cronyism. Edited by Penge Eagle (25 Nov 2016 8.17am)

You have not answered my previous questions on why you are so enthralled with the CBI of late, when historically you have appeared to oppose them, and their members, on many matters?

Now Richard Branson's Virgin Group is bankrolling a campaign to reverse Brexit. Again, big business trying to undo democracy for its own gain!
