What disappointed me, but didn't surprise me, is the usage of any judicial, media or so-called moral tool available by Remainers to try and stop Brexit. The above is an observation on how the usage of data from organisations previously dismissed as being tools of the establishment, is gleefully taken at face value by the Remain camp.

Still, not much at the moment shocks me about the stifling predicatibility of modern society.

I wouldn't dispute that some on all sides of the political arena engage in blatant hypocrisy at times, or perhaps almost all of the time.I might say that what I find noteworthy at the moment is the unpredictability of society.

My point to you was more centred around (1) using an example relating to a small minority group as a stick to beat "the left" generically and (2)seemingly being immune to posting/expressing outrage when people you agree with do the same thing..

As an example with a slightly wider resonance than TUSC, let's take the Leave camp's utilisation of "beware millions of the Johnny Foreigner Turks are coming" as a propaganda tool. Then let's look at the actions of one of the Leave camp's key exponents on this point:

"After the Turkish President, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, took legal action against German satirist Jan Boehmermann for performing a poem insulting to the Turkish premier, Boris Johnson wrote a poem of his own.
The limerick - the key parts of which we cannot reprint here - won the Spectator magazine's "President Erdogan Offensive Poetry Competition" in May.
More significantly, though, Mr Johnson has several times changed his public stance on whether or not Turkey should join the EU.
During the referendum campaign, he repeatedly warned voters about the prospect of Turkey joining the EU - and the impact migration from the country could have on the UK. That was despite the fact he had previously said keeping Turkey out of the bloc "sent out the worst possible message to moderates in the Islamic world".
Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yildirim told the BBC at the time: "May God help him and reform him."
Since the referendum, however, Mr Johnson has changed his tone again.
In September 2016, he visited Turkey in search of a "jumbo trade deal". During the trip, he called for "a new partnership" between the UK and Turkey, extolling the virtues of his "beautiful, very well functioning" Turkish washing machine.
He also said the UK would "help Turkey in any way" with its bid to join the EU."

Many sources claim that financially, the average person is anywhere between 20-40% worse off now than they were at the turn of the 21st century. Who shall i blame for this and what has your 14yr old psychic got to say about this situation?

I have to laugh at the psychic Chancellor who yesterday produced the same kind of wishful thinking that his predecessor did in terms of tackling public borrowing targets - Osborne's predictions were ALL roundly missed with the deficit rising exponentially to £1.75 trillion with record borrowing STILL to come. At least Hammond admitted that we'd be very much still in the red by 2020 and next Get.Election as opposed to Osborne and into the black. Doh!

Doesn't mean it won't happen!

Debt to gdp of 90+% . Thanks austerity. You've really worked. Seems that the idea of state investment as stimulus isn't a daft lefty idea anymore. Miliband was shot down for suggesting such a thing yet Hammond is being applauded.

Or perhaps I was joking (like Hoof did about hitting children to raise a response) in order to worm out of something I've said that's iffy.

Osborne should have made deeper cuts in my view. But he had his eyes on the PM job! (cnut)

I don't think Hammond is any better. Another useless chancellor.

The EU is hell-bent on expansion in whatever direction. Of course it'll happen.

Exactamundo. The EU's empire building will go on despite Britain's exit.

In July, 2007, President of the European Commission Jose Manuel Barroso said:

"Sometimes I like to compare the E.U. as a creation to the organisation of empires. We have the dimension of Empire but there is a great difference. Empires were usually made with force with a centre imposing diktat, a will on the others. Now what we have is the first non-Imperial empire... I believe it is a great construction and we should be proud of it."

Another example of the EU's corporate cronyism the REAL left deplore but not the part-time lefties on HOL.

Former European Commission chief Jose Manuel Barroso, who was complicit in helping Goldman Sachs defraud the Greek economy, is now taking a job with the company. [Link]

Gotta love Max Keiser.

Can you expand on the emboldened part, it's a bit all encompassing sweeping generalisationy.
