Still, not much at the moment shocks me about the stifling predicatibility of modern society. I wouldn't dispute that some on all sides of the political arena engage in blatant hypocrisy at times, or perhaps almost all of the time.I might say that what I find noteworthy at the moment is the unpredictability of society. My point to you was more centred around (1) using an example relating to a small minority group as a stick to beat "the left" generically and (2)seemingly being immune to posting/expressing outrage when people you agree with do the same thing.. As an example with a slightly wider resonance than TUSC, let's take the Leave camp's utilisation of "beware millions of the Johnny Foreigner Turks are coming" as a propaganda tool. Then let's look at the actions of one of the Leave camp's key exponents on this point: "After the Turkish President, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, took legal action against German satirist Jan Boehmermann for performing a poem insulting to the Turkish premier, Boris Johnson wrote a poem of his own.

Many sources claim that financially, the average person is anywhere between 20-40% worse off now than they were at the turn of the 21st century. Who shall i blame for this and what has your 14yr old psychic got to say about this situation?
I have to laugh at the psychic Chancellor who yesterday produced the same kind of wishful thinking that his predecessor did in terms of tackling public borrowing targets - Osborne's predictions were ALL roundly missed with the deficit rising exponentially to £1.75 trillion with record borrowing STILL to come. At least Hammond admitted that we'd be very much still in the red by 2020 and next Get.Election as opposed to Osborne and into the black. Doh!

In July, 2007, President of the European Commission Jose Manuel Barroso said: "Sometimes I like to compare the E.U. as a creation to the organisation of empires. We have the dimension of Empire but there is a great difference. Empires were usually made with force with a centre imposing diktat, a will on the others. Now what we have is the first non-Imperial empire... I believe it is a great construction and we should be proud of it." Edited by Penge Eagle (24 Nov 2016 9.51pm)

Another example of the EU's corporate cronyism the REAL left deplore but not the part-time lefties on HOL. Former European Commission chief Jose Manuel Barroso, who was complicit in helping Goldman Sachs defraud the Greek economy, is now taking a job with the company. [Link]

Can you expand on the emboldened part, it's a bit all encompassing sweeping generalisationy.
