In the short to long term, Russia will grind this out and 'win'. Russia has gained economically from the invasion, not just because oil gas and grain prices have risen, but also because it strengthened ties with China and militarily, it's just a matter of time. NATO, the EU and US were exposed as being a toothless decrepit old dog.

Ukraine look to be losing another city this winter and despite rather odds claims that there is a stalemate Russia are taking ground and on the offensive in several areas. I don't think Nato are a toothless old dog, let's not forget that Ukraine isn't a Nato country and that Nato troops aren't deployed....not officially anyway. Personally I'm of the view that Nato's air and sea and troop capacity with Ukraine's would be enough to push Russia out of Ukraine. However, we would probably all burn because I seriously think Russia wouldn't accept it. Russia are well aware of Nato's ability in that sense and have threatened nuclear war if Nato employs professional armies against them in Ukraine. This is why this war was always bad policy. It was only realistically winnable if Nato was employing everything it had....in essence you have to risk real nuclear war to have a chance of winning it. The sensible thing to do was to take that peace deal on offer 18 months ago.....but hey ho we have chancers leading us rather than people who can realistically gauge percentage chance of outcomes. Firstly the claim that its 'governments and media' attempted undermine information access - no evidence provided aside from the 'they aren't telling you the truth' line. Much of the tucker 'interview' is Putin just reciting this essay he wrote (which has been commonly posted yet seemingly ignored by the pro russian posters on here in the past). The claim that this argument being censored, omitted and ignored is odd given many western media outlets have often linked to it years prior. Some examples below: Secondly the claim that no 'journalist' bothered to interview Vladamir Putin in all these years. Moving from the technical paradox that Tucker once claimed he 'wasn't a journalist at all' as a get out defence for defamation. Welcome back Tucker I guess! Its also not true, even the Kremlin itself said this was not true. Then there is more unsupported information about how the US state department has always 'blocked' tucker from doing this interview. A shout out Elon. Claims that Tucker's interview will be censored, despite it literally being no. 2 on the BBC and CNN right now and ironically even features on pravda, the state broadcaster of Ukraine. "If freedom means anything, it should be that you are allowed to hear two arguments and make your own mind up on what you support." It also means you are allowed to openly support Russia, when will you celebrate our freedom and do this?

A good opportunity for Putin to paint his own picture of the situation. He is very good at telling lies within truths. If it's true that Trump threatened to bomb Moscow if Russia invaded Ukraine, as Farage claims, then we are in for an interesting time if he returns to the Whitehouse. It's clear that Russia has no intention of falling back unless a deal can be brokered or we make them with force.

Carlson is in Russia...in the Kermlin itself. And he is an American whose's country is funding the weapons killing his troops. I hardly think he's in a position where he can just attack Putin like he's ten minutes from his house. He was granted the interview. Have you seen Zelensky interviews? CNN literally interviewed Zelensky and asked him what his favourite music was. [Tweet Link]

There should be no 'I love Russia' or 'I love Ukraine'. There should only be, 'what is best for our nation'. I simply disagree with the course western elites have taken....they are globalist and I am not. My exact position and objections were exactly the same as those held by western politicians even in the State department twenty years ago.....All of that gets ignored. I'm against this war for the many reasons I've detailed in this thread. This idea that if you don't support the mainstream narrative of supporting the war in Ukraine means that you're Putin's mate is similar to the tactics the Democrats use of saying if you don't support BLM means that you hate black people. Did the 30 minute rant about how Ukraine is actually a made up concept and that part where we learned that Poland actually provoked Germany to invade it kicking off WW2 not do it for you?
