Economic forecasting is as reliable as reading tarot cards, or getting an African JuJu man to cast chicken bones on the floor..... LOL

Even the weathermen are doing a better job of forecasting now they've realised the Jet Stream and El Nino are the major influences on global weather.

But the OPB etc are still putting in iffy data with wild parameters and coming up with all sorts of results that suits their political agenda (even though they insist they are independent). The BBC can't wait to hype it further and then it's out in the domain and all of a sudden everyone is an expert - interviews with young mums in vegan cafes telling us how they are worried etc.

The most sensible thing said yesterday was when the Chancellor said it was his first Autumn Statement and his last.
