Could we, should we, will he.....

Still got one of the best manager records ever.
If he hadn't become so long faced he would probably be heading to an elite club.
Like Roy, he is not interested in goals.

Good to know Willo, thanks for that

In terms of media speculation out there, one has to be wary.

Hodgson is leaving latest end season.

A new manager must be coming in.

Thus, make suggestion, get media traction, but just paper talk.

Any discussion will be very quiet and respecting Roy's final months.

Thus, at present I would say that Willo's fondness for the Coventry man is as good as any other gossip out there.

I cant predict our next manager but I can predict the next manager after the next manager. And it will most likely be Dyche.

The enevitable will happen after a season and a half with a new upcomming manager and then who is left that we will turn too? Dyche will be fed with everton by then.

Paddy mc cheap option

He certainly would be cheap, but would also offer a (usually unheard of) degree of continuity and long-term planning.

There is that theory that England managers should be England u21 managers first. Southgate did it, a lot of foreign nations did it, and it does seem to help a person become prepared for the very specific nature of the job. Not many first-time managers get to do an apprenticeship at the club in preparation for the role. Perhaps it's a great idea? If not Paddy being cheapo means Parish can always sack him if not!

I appreciate the wisdom of cutting Paddy loose so he can prove his worth at a League 2 or 1 club, but that level of football is so different to ours that many of the skills are becoming non-transferable. Thats why so few managers outside the top flight get jobs in the top flight.

I have to ask who Will Sills is though? Is he any relation to Will Still?

A slip of the keyboard no from me for Carrick

Roy’s current contract ends in the summer, that doesn’t mean he is leaving. I expect he will get another contract for a year, easy option.

Possibly especially if paddy needs another season.

Both as made up spec as any other made up guess.
