Hopefully we have the sense to insist on a share of any future sale as he is bound to end up at PSG if he is any good! God, i hope not, they're losing players quicker than we are.
This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise. |

Well that’s par for the rulings involving our modern game still called football. Totally contrasting interpretations ,net result confusion that the top teams always seem to ride through, everyone else appear as if hands are tied behind back. Not just in the finances , also the rules and how referees come up with different decisions week in week out.

There is an article on the BBC website stating how Chelsea have managed to stay within the FFP rules and it's effectively what Simon Jordan has said

He may not have the funds to propel the club forward as quickly as some would like, but nobody should doubt that Parish is a shrewd character who will always seek to drive a hard bargain for Palace.

what i really would like to know is has a bid been (reluctantly) accepted, all i read last night was chelsea ‘believed’ it had been accepted…those are 2 different scenarios. i dont hold any bad feeling towards olise/his agent/parish over this situation, it is what it is & we were always a stepping stone in his career…i just feel lucky we have seen him play for 2 seasons, if we get a 3rd season thats a bonus. i just feel like, chelsea have been a bunch of c***s about this situation & if they have tapped him up then we should dig our heels in & make life as difficult as possible…they cant be eligable for ‘the clause’ otherwise this transfer would have been completed weeks ago & very straight forward. we have franca, we have JSR, we will stay up this season regardless if he leaves…its just annoying from a fans POV that we actually have no idea what the parameters of the deal would be.
