I doubt she will resign from her high paid job where she is likely surrounded by and worse, responsible for hiring people who think the same as her and her circle of friends. Again, the BBC is tax payer funded yet there is no tax payer control over content and personnel. If civil servants acted like this there are avenues for complaint but not with the untouchable BBC. The new DG turning up in expensive jeans as work look is not a good sign IMO.
Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance. |

It is a pretty disgraceful way to behave when you are funded by the British Taxpayer.

Normally I am fine with people making money if you have a talent that people want why not. The issue here is this is the second time she has done this without seeking approval from her employer. I always felt sorry for Big Sam because in that England sting operation one of the first things he said to the fake sheik was that whatever agreement they reached would first have to be approved by the FA. So he did the right thing and got sacked she keeps her job. To me this story isn't so much about impartiality and conflict of interest but more about her breaking HR guidelines that every major company have on taking on outside work. To me there is an arrogance about this though.

I dont care what she earns in a second job but £195,000 BBC salary for what? How on earth is that salary justified?

She has a real problem now as it is a good bet that she has already promised to do more for others.
