Look at what we had on the pitch today.
Parish or "Doug" aren't really fit to be at the same table as Roy.
Keep ball first half. Nick a great goal. Well organised defending second and a great performance from a keeper who's barely played.

Leicester were toilet mind.

The Foxes were poor, and reading what their fans think, they feel like they should be hammering teams like Palace. That’s what happens when you win the title, your expectations are greater, but unfortunately the only way is down after that.

They are my tip to be in the dog fight at the end of the season.

Similar on the pitch only, did you watch motd tonight?

We don’t enjoy Gary Lineker’s dulcet tones here in the States, as MOTD is not broadcast here.

Trump lost. Badly. Hahahahahahaha.

perhaps the biggest signing in january needs to be a new Steven Reid ... seems he might have been the motivational link between the (albeit experienced) dinosaurs and the youth of todays team....

as individuals we are as good as most outside the top 8....with fit strikers we should be feared

but we are predictable and seemingly quite brilliant in our ability to not play to the strengths of certain key player(s) i.e christian , stair head, benteke

...he scored lots of goals for us when we had two speedy wingers pinging first time balls in for him to RUN ON TO and bonce it in....

rocket science this aint and why bolasie was not secured even as a loan god only knows

“He’s six foot something, fit as a flea, good looking – he’s got to have something wrong with him. Hopefully he’s hung like a hamster – That would make us all feel better. Having said that, me missus has got a pet hamster at home, and his cock’s massive.”

Expected goals is only meant to inform about how creative an attacking team is over a period of games and is quite a reasonable study and correlates enough to allow good judgement I feel, I don't really think of Ayew as a striker the role he plays with us is just to bring the players together, he is badly struggling at the moment with confidence due to too much pressure.

Give it up. Saying we’re on a par with Everton is worthy of most stupid Palace talk post of the year.

This is very unkind and disrespectful to vastly experienced football coaches who performed a 'miracle' last season and ensured we stayed in the PL.They are certainly chaps, vastly respected in the football world, who embrace the modern technology and sports science which plays a major part in the modern game.

Get to a certain age with a vast amount of experience of both football and life and one gets termed a "Dinosaur" !!!!

fair enough...probably harsh but purely from a motivational perspective having younger coaches or backroom staff creates a better link. Roy had a huge amount of success in his younger days, but Roy and Ray are in the twilights of their careers....

eddie howe, sean dyche, chris hughton ...all clearly get the absolute best out of quite average players

Mustn’t forget that Roy came in last year when confidence was rock bottom and we played our way out of trouble. No fluke or super defensive tactics.

On the pitch as I mentioned we are and possibly with the new stand built and being placed in London we definitely are on a par with them....yesterday and today's result only backs me up.

At the moment we are probably the 5th biggest club in London and have never won a major trophy. Everton have won 15. I think we need to move up from 5th and win a trophy before we can start comparing ourselves to Everton. But hey lets dream you never know with Palace.
