I think Roy did a very good job last season.
He was genuinely innovative and managed to make Zaha and Townsend a successful front paring ( which I never thought would work) and brought the best out of players such as Sako and PVA
( whom I had almost given up on).
This season he seems rigid in his tactics and unable to innovate or respond to challenges in the home games.
The only time we have seemed as fluid as last season was in the home game against Burnley and some attributed this to how poor Burnley played.
I acknowledge that Cabaye and RLC are no longer available but you would still have thought that a coach of Roy’s experience would have devised a a method or methods to make us a greater attacking threat at home.

If push came to shove I wouldn't mind Rafa - he's got experience and is currently working under spending constraints, he'll fit in well here

Rafa would be top of the list no doubt. One of the best managers in the world in my opinion. Taken a team of championship quality players and has got them fighting for a spot in the top ten. Still I'm contempt with Roy.

A Crystal Palace fan from New Addington was recently held in contempt of Roy at Croydon Magistrates Court.

Yet another game he does nothing to change things and then we go behind!!

Leaves subs way too late. Disappointing.

Well two awful weekends of football, not much else to say. Thankfuly we get next weekend off.

Got to say pretty clueless and toothless, somebody install a de fib machine at the training ground. Our season is all but done, renew my ST , what the hell for.

I think changing now is suicidal as he probably has enough to keep us up. But I’ll be unhappy if Roy is in the dugout to start next season. Not only are the results (particularly at home and in big rivalry games) unacceptable but the pattern and nature of them is infuriating.

It’s painful to watch because every loss feels like groundhog day

Not our worst season since we came up but losing twice to Brighton and 3 times to Watford is seriously poor.

Our players aren't great, but we have underachieved badly this year. We used to at least have a good back line, but since Sakho has gone, even that has turned to sh-t.

We're battling a championship level Cardiff team for relegation, FFS.

I'm grateful to Roy for last year, but this year has been abject crap, and I don't see how Roy can come back to do it again next season. There's nothing in the way we are playing that makes me think we'd be any better next year under the same manager.

I don't have delusions of finishing in the top 6, but we have enough talent that we should be well clear of relegation before the last game or two of the season.

I would think another 5/6 points would see us safe. If I was Parish I would be putting out the feelers for a new manager & step the search up a gear when we are mathematically safe.
Give the new guy a transfer window & a decent pre-season

The pattern of decline in performance follows precisely that of England under Hodgson. Negative tactics subconsciously affect players. To see a manager dither with subs must also affect confidence, let alone having a plan A and no plan B. It's reflected across the pitch in sub-standard performances. I'll go as far as to say that RH has (on a sub-conscious level at the very least) lost this set of players.
Parish needs to start looking for a new manager now for next season, hopefully we'll still be in the PL and with some fresh instinct and impetus.
