Unfortunately I think it will be very difficult to return to the premiership after such a long layoff. I know he is still relatively young but missing a good 18 months makes it difficult (I think the same will apply to Bolasie) Your right. We need 2 attacking options. I'd suggest additional striker and a wide player/striker. Edited by Dan89 (24 Aug 2017 11.28am)

are you having a a laugh ! Huddersfield couldv'e scored 6. and Liverpool, if not for Hennessey the same. We are in need badly of a centre back to partner Dann and take some of the pressure off him. As for Forwards we've needed one for ages. Wickham must be getting near fitness soon ? That's what I thought when I read solid. Fackin hell.

For a club entering it's 5th consecutive season in the Premier League, we seem woefully underprepared.

But that's just a rubbish news link. This one sounds different in that the contract of sale stipulates if we're relegated there's an agreement we give them a sell on fee. I'd also guess there's quite a heavy weighting on Sakho's appearances and/or availability. It sounds like we're all protected apart from if he gets serious injuries and either we go down or his apps are heavily weighted in the add ons. That's much of the issue to begin with. It would appear we have learnt nothing from the "expansive football" experiment with the biggest chancer in football, Alan Pardew. Dougie's back ...Fcuk knows what for. 3-4-3 with Dann and Ward...don't make me laugh. and still no cover up front, in goal, or defence. Utter shambles for a Prem Club. But they saved us in 2010 so you can't say anything or else the blinkered will hunt you down and call you a plastic. Fck em, were are being ran poorly and without investment we will go down this year.

They saved us but all this talk of in parish we trust. Its almost cult like. Are people that brainwashed. Keep saying it go big or go home. Fed up with us making up the numbers. Being an also ran. If something happens to Benteke on Saturday we are absolutely f***ed. Into the next round of the caraboa cup , a ram packed Christmas fixtures list and fa cup coming afterwards. Simply not good enough and smacks of penny pinching. It's becoming incredibly tedious.

We still looked much better against Liverpool, and if we wanted to we could field exactly the same 11 that won at Anfield in April, without Sakho. Like I said, I'd love to see Sakho back here, but I think our priorities have to be at the other other end of the pitch where we're so short of cover.
